    Scott was signed to the Patriots' practice squad Wednesday. Scott was not claimed on waivers after being let go by the team Tuesday, and he will now stay in New England as a member of the practice unit. The tight end will look to earn an elevation to the active roster and make his NFL debut in 2025.

    The Patriots waived Scott on Tuesday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports. Scott signed with New England as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State earlier this year and appeared in all three preseason contests. However, he wasn't targeted on 48 offensive snaps.
