  • Bengals' Isaiah Foskey: Signed to active roster

The Bengals signed Foskey off the practice squad Friday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. With all three of Trey Hendrickson (hip), Shemar Stewart (knee) and Cameron Sample (oblique) out for Week 12, Foskey gives the Bengals some needed depth on the defensive line.

  • Isaiah Foskey: Lands with Bengals' practice squad

Cincinnati signed Foskey to its practice squad Tuesday. Foskey played in 27 regular-season games for the Saints over the past two years, with most of his work coming on special teams. He didn't make New Orleans 53-man roster out of training camp and will now get a look with the Bengals with an aim toward getting back to active game-day status.

  • Saints' Isaiah Foskey: Will play Sunday

Foskey (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports. Foskey popped up on the Saints' injury report Friday with a back injury that prevented him from practicing, but he's good to go for Sunday's bout. The 2023 second-round pick played 32 snaps (11 on defense, 21 on special teams) and registered four tackles (one solo) in New Orleans' Week 1 win over Carolina.

  • Saints' Isaiah Foskey: Stays sidelined

Foskey (quadriceps) is inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers. Foskey hasn't played since Week 13 and has only appeared in nine games during his rookie campaign. He'll continue to work to get healthy and appear in the team's Week 18 regular-season finale.

  • Saints' Isaiah Foskey: On track to play Sunday

Foskey (quadriceps) was not listed on New Orleans' injury report Wednesday, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Foskey has been sidelined for the Saints' past two games due to a quadriceps injury he sustained in Week 9 versus the Bears, but it now looks like he'll be available to suit up for Week 13. With Cameron Jordan's (ankle) status in doubt, Foskey could actually be in line for an expanded role come Sunday versus the Lions.

  • Saints' Isaiah Foskey: Will remain out

Foskey (thigh) will not return Sunday against the Bears, John Hendrix of SI.com reports. Foskey was considered questionable to return upon suffering the injury in the first half, but the second-round selected rookie will be unable to do so. In his absence, Tanoh Kpassagnon should see extra snaps behind Cameron Jordan and Carl Granderson.

  • Saints' Isaiah Foskey: Exits with thigh injury

Foskey (thigh) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bears, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports. The 2023 second-round pick failed to record a stat before suffering a thigh injury. Tanoh Kpassagnon should see an uptick in snaps on the Saints' defense for the time being.

  • Saints' Isaiah Foskey: Significant playing time Sunday

Foskey recorded one assisted tackle during Sunday's 22-17 preseason win over the Chargers. Foskey played a team-high 47 defensive snaps during the Saints' second preseason contest, which was a notable increase over his 25 defensive snaps in the preseason opener. The rookie second-round pick is expected to compete for a primary rotational role behind veteran defensive ends Cameron Jordan and Carl Granderson this coming season. However, Foskey may still need to prove himself over 2021 first-rounder Payton Turner and veteran Tanoh Kpassagnon, the latter of whom signed a two-year, $6 million extension this offseason.

  • Saints' Isaiah Foskey: New edge rusher for New Orleans

The Saints selected Foskey in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 40th overall. Foskey (6-foot-5, 264 pounds) has a prototypical build for a 4-3 end, yet his athleticism is more like what you see at safety with a 4.58-second 40-yard dash and 125-inch broad jump. Foskey's production at Notre Dame implies a standout skill set to pair with his obviously plus athletic talent, making for a prospect profile befitting a first-round pick in many other drafts. Foskey is a candidate to start for the Saints after posting 11 sacks in each of the last two seasons.
