Player Outlook
Like many of the Packers' pass catchers, Kraft has been wildly efficient but has struggled to see enough targets to be a reliable producer of Fantasy points. The difference between Kraft and the other guys is that he plays tight end. Because of the nature of the position in Fantasy, tight ends can more easily overcome target concerns with elite efficiency, particularly if they are great after the catch like George Kittle. Kraft has been elite after the catch, averaging 7.5 YAC per reception as a rookie and somehow increasing that to 9.1 last year. He's also been elite at reaching the end zone, scoring nine touchdowns on 110 career targets for an 8.2% rate. He's likely due for some regression in both areas, but we still like him as a top-10 tight end this year worthy of a pick as early as Round 9. If Kraft sees an increase in targets he could be the breakout tight end of 2025.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Returns to practice Tuesday

Kraft (groin) is participating in Tuesday's practice, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Kraft missed practice Saturday due to a groin injury, but he appears to be back on the field without limitations. The 2023 third-round pick impressed in terms of YAC in 2024 while mostly garnering receptions close to the line of scrimmage, but heading into Year 3 there's been some buzz that Kraft could get more involved downfield, a development that would increase his odds of truly breaking out for fantasy purposes. Still, given Green Bay's crowded pass-catching corps, it could be a struggle for Kraft to command consistent targets on a weekly basis, especially if fellow tight end Luke Musgrave stays healthy.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Dealing with groin injury

Kraft was unable to practice Saturday due to a groin injury, Bill Huber of SI.com reports. Kraft had gotten through training camp with a clean bill of health prior to this injury, and there had been some buzz about him becoming a more impactful member of the Packers' offense this season. There's no indication that this injury will threaten his status to begin the campaign, but little is known at this point.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Aiming to get more downfield looks

Coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday that the Packers "absolutely" believe they can get Kraft more involved in the downfield passing game this season, Mark Oldacres of USA Today reports. Among 45 qualified tight ends last season, Kraft's average depth of target (4.7 yards) was 42nd at the position. He did most of his work on underneath looks at or close to the line of scrimmage. As a result, Kraft led all NFL tight ends in yards after catch per reception (8.8 yards) and was 14th in yards per route (1.55) over 17 regular-season games. The Packers have a ton of mouths to feed in the passing offense, so getting Kraft more involved down the field may be easier said than done. Kraft is being selected as a borderline TE1 in early fantasy football drafts this summer.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Five catches in loss

Kraft recorded five receptions on five targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 22-10 loss to the Eagles. He added two rushes for 10 yards. The Packers dealt with a rash of injuries among their pass catchers, and Kraft was able to lead the team in receptions as a result. He was used primarily in short-area situations, which led to a modest yardage total. Despite the mediocre close to his second pro season, Kraft increased his production across the board and clearly wrestled the top spot on the depth chart from Luke Musgrave. He should remain a key contributor to Green Bay's offense in 2025.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Ends regular season with 50 catches

Kraft caught four of seven targets for 36 yards in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Bears. Kraft led the Packers in targets as Green Bay played without Romeo Doubs (illness) and lost Christian Watson (knee) in the second quarter. Fellow second-year tight end Luke Musgrave missed most of the regular season due to an ankle injury, allowing Kraft to blossom in the lead role. Kraft capitalized on his opportunity with 50 catches for 707 yards and seven touchdowns on 70 targets. As the No. 7 seed, the Packers will travel to Philadelphia in the wild-card round.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Two long catches against MIN

Kraft recorded two catches on three targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 27-25 loss to the Vikings. Kraft saw limited opportunity in the close loss but made the most of his targets. He accounted for Green Bay's two longest plays from scrimmage with 35- and 18-yard receptions to finish second on the team in yardage. Kraft's volume remains limited due to the range of pass-catching options in the Packer's offense, though he's emerged as a big-play threat by recording a catch of at least 20 yards in four straight contests.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Sleeper TEs

Kraft could have had a big game in Week 16 against New Orleans, but the Packers didn't need much from him in a 34-0 blowout. He still managed three catches for 63 yards on four targets, and he has now scored at least 9.5 PPR points in four of his past five games. He also did well against the Vikings in Week 4 with six catches for 53 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, and I expect this game to be a shootout in Minnesota in Week 17. The Vikings have allowed four tight ends to score at least 8.0 PPR points in their past five games.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Set for Week 17

Kraft (hip) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest in Minnesota, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Kraft followed an LP/LP/FP practice regimen this week, while fellow tight end Luke Musgrave was listed as limited on all three Week 17 practice reports. Both players have been cleared for Sunday's game, which should result in Kraft taking on a majority share of the Packers' TE reps. Over the last five games, Kraft has combined for a 16-242-2 line on 20 targets.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Limited again Thursday

Kraft (hip) practiced on a limited basis Thursday. The Packers have capped the practice reps of both Kraft and Luke Musgrave (ankle) this week, but there's been no indication that the second-year tight ends are in danger of sitting out Sunday in Minnesota. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not either player has a designation for that contest.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Dealing with hip issue

Kraft was listed as limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate due to a hip injury. Luke Musgrave (ankle) had the same listing, which is no surprise coming two days after his first game action since Week 4. As for Kraft, the hip issue is a new health concern, so the statuses of both tight ends will be watched as the week goes on. Since getting blanked on one target Week 11 at Chicago, Kraft has reeled off a 16-242-2 line on 20 targets over the last five contests.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Kraft could have had a big game in Week 16 against New Orleans, but the Packers didn't need much from him in a 34-0 blowout. He still managed three catches for 63 yards on four targets, and he has now scored at least 9.5 PPR points in four of his past five games. He also did well against the Vikings in Week 4 with six catches for 53 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, and I expect this game to be a shootout in Minnesota in Week 17. The Vikings have allowed four tight ends to score at least 8.0 PPR points in their past five games.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Gains 65 yards Monday

Kraft caught three of four targets for 63 yards while gaining two yards on his only carry in Monday's 34-0 blowout win over New Orleans. Kraft tied Jayden Reed in receptions while finishing just 13 yards behind the wideout for the team lead. The tight end's production was especially positive given the fact that Green Bay threw for just 216 yards. Kraft also recorded his third rushing attempt of the season, all of which have gone for two yards apiece. The 24-year-old brings a solid floor to the table for fantasy managers against the Vikings on Sunday.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: TEs to Sit

Romeo Doubs returned from his two-game absence with a concussion in Week 15 at Seattle, and Kraft was limited to two catches for 34 yards on two targets. The Saints are one of two teams who have allowed just one touchdown to a tight end this season, and Kraft has proven to be touchdown dependent for his Fantasy production. Kraft is only worth starting in deeper leagues.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Sleeper TEs

Romeo Doubs (concussion) is expected to return in Week 15 against Seattle after missing the past two games, and that's slightly bad news for Kraft, who has benefitted with Doubs out. Kraft has 12 targets in his past two games against Miami and Detroit for nine catches, 119 yards and a touchdown, and he scored at least 13.1 PPR points in each outing. He's actually scored at least 10.6 PPR points in three games in a row, and the Seahawks have allowed two tight ends in the past three games to score at least 14 PPR points. Based on the matchup, even with Doubs back, I still like Kraft as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy tight end in all leagues.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Kraft has scored at least 10.6 PPR points in two games in a row, and I like his outlook better in Week 14 with Romeo Doubs (concussion) out. He had six catches for 78 yards on seven targets in Week 13 against Miami with Doubs out. But this matchup against the Lions isn't easy, and Kraft had four catches for 34 yards on six targets against Detroit in Week 9. That game was in the rain, but the Lions are No. 1 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Only one tight end has scored against Detroit all season, which was A.J. Barner in Week 4, and he's the lone tight end with double digits in PPR points. Kraft is only worth starting in deeper leagues in Week 14.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Grabs sixth touchdown Sunday

Kraft reeled in both of his targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-10 rout of the 49ers. Kraft was the beneficiary of one of Jordan Love's two passing touchdowns in a one-sided victory. The sophomore tight end rebounded from last week's zero-catch outing to score his sixth touchdown of the season against San Francisco. Kraft is a reasonable option for fantasy managers to consider on Thanksgiving when the Packers host the Dolphins on Thursday.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Kraft was a huge letdown in Week 11 at Chicago with no catches on one target, and it's tough to trust him heading into Week 12 against San Francisco. The 49ers are No. 6 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and only two tight ends have scored touchdowns against San Francisco this season, including none since Week 5. The 49ers have held Travis Kelce, Jake Ferguson and Cade Otton to 8.5 PPR points or less in their past four games, and Kraft is not worth trusting in this matchup in the majority of leagues.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Blanked in Week 11

Kraft didn't haul in his only target during Sunday's 20-19 win in Chicago. The Packers logged 25 fewer offensive plays than the Bears and held possession for nearly 13 minutes less than the opposition, resulting in a season-low 17 pass attempts for QB Jordan Love in any of his eight appearances. As a result, no Green Bay pass catcher was targeted more than five times, and only Josh Jacobs (five) and Christian Watson (four) received more than three. As for Kraft, he was held without a catch for the first time in 10 games on the campaign. His next chance to get back in the box score is next Sunday against the 49ers.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Four catches against Lions

Kraft recorded four receptions on six targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 24-14 loss to the Lions. He added one carry for two yards. Kraft tied for second on the team with six targets, his highest mark since Week 4. Rainy weather affected Jordan Love's accuracy and willingness to push the ball down the field, so Kraft's yardage total was modest despite his increased role, as his longest catch went for just 13 yards. Even so, Kraft's involvement was a positive on a down day for Green Bay's offense overall.

  • Packers' Tucker Kraft: Tallies fourth touchdown

Kraft was targeted four times and caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-22 victory over the Texans. Kraft was slowed by a groin injury last week, but he occupied his usual spot in the starting lineup Sunday and found the end zone for the fourth time in four weeks. Kraft will have a chance to keep his momentum going, as he and the Packers will next face a Jaguars defense that has been as friendly to tight ends as anyone over the last five weeks, allowing big games to Hunter Henry (8-92-0) and Cole Kmet (5-70-2) as well as TDs to Mo Alie-Cox and Dalton Kincaid.
