Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Hauls in long TD in Week 6 win
Rotowire
Douglas caught three of four targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-19 win over the Saints.
The third-year wideout nearly had a much bigger performance, but Douglas had a 61-yard TD in the first quarter erased by a very questionable offensive pass interference call away from the play on Stefon Diggs. The call didn't cost the Patriots any points, however, as Drake Maye capped that drive with a 25-yard score to Kayshon Boutte instead. Douglas had just 30 receiving yards on the season coming into Sunday, but two of his 10 receptions have resulted in touchdowns. Douglas remains behind Diggs and Boutte in the pecking order for targets, but he'll carry some momentum into a Week 7 tilt against the Titans.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Two catches versus Bills
Rotowire
Douglas caught two of his three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Bills.
Douglas, who was on the field for 17 of a possible 60 snaps on offense, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, was out-snapped in the contest by fellow WRs Kayshon Boutte (37), Mack Hollins (35) and Stefon Diggs (30). With just seven catches for 30 yards and a TD on 16 targets in five games, Douglas is off the lineup radar in all but the deepest of fantasy formats.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Decreased workload in Week 4
Rotowire
Douglas was on the field for eight of a possible 49 snaps on offense in Sunday's 42-13 win over the Panthers, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com.
In the process, the slot receiver didn't record a target, with Reiss noting that Douglas' dip in playing time corresponded with Stefon Diggs' snap share increasing Sunday. Though there will be weeks where Douglas is more involved in the offense, be it via game plan or game flow, his 5-13-1 line on 13 targets through four games has him off the fantasy lineup radar for now.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Two catches Sunday
Rotowire
Douglas, who logged 29 of 74 snaps on offense in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Steelers per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught two of five targets for seven yards.
Douglas was out-snapped by fellow WRs Kayshon Boutte (56 snaps, two catches), Mack Hollins (46 snaps, four catches) and Stefon Diggs (39 snaps, three catches). Through the Patriots' first three games, Douglas has caught five of his 13 targets for 13 yards and a TD and added four yards on one carry. Based on his production so far, Douglas is a speculative fantasy option at best unless he picks up the pace.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: One catch Sunday
Rotowire
Douglas, who was on the field for 15 of a possible 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Dolphins, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught his only target in the contest for eight yards.
With the Patriots rolling with their share of multi-TE groupings in Week 2, in addition to the team mixing which WRs were on the field in three-WR alignments, Douglas saw a dip in playing time Sunday. Looking ahead, game plans and game flows in the coming weeks could lead to added opportunities for Douglas, but with a 3-6-1 receiving line (on eight targets) through two games, the Patriots' slot man profiles as a hit-or-miss option in PPR formats.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Minimal production in Week 1 loss
Rotowire
Douglas secured two of seven targets for minus-2 yards and a touchdown while rushing once for four yards in the Patriots' 20-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday.
Douglas' final receiving line was odd to say the least, considering he managed the unlikely feat of recording a touchdown yet finishing with negative yardage overall. The third-year pro saved his day from being a total washout with his two-yard scoring grab late in the first quarter, but the likes of Kayshon Boutte (6-103), Stefon Diggs (6-57) and Hunter Henry (4-66) were all much more involved. It remains to be seen if Week 1 usage will be indicative of a more concentrated Patriots air attack this season, with the next opportunity to see the matter play out coming in the form of a Week 2 road matchup against the Dolphins.

Patriots' Demario Douglas: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
We need to keep an eye on Stefon Diggs (knee) and if he'll be limited in his first game back from last year's torn ACL. But even if Diggs plays every offensive snap, I still expect Douglas to have a big role from Drake Maye. As the slot receiver for Josh McDaniels, Douglas should get plenty of targets, and he's worth trusting as a No. 3 Fantasy option in PPR leagues in Week 1.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Fails to catch only target Saturday
Rotowire
Douglas didn't catch his only target in Saturday's 20-12 preseason win over the Vikings.
Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins got the start at wide receiver for the Patriots, but Douglas made a brief cameo on the team's first possession and couldn't connect with Drake Maye on a shot downfield. The 2023 sixth-round pick seems locked into a starting job opposite Stefon Diggs (knee) once the regular season begins, and if Maye takes the leap forward expected of him in his second NFL campaign, Douglas should be able to surpass the 66-621-3 line he posted on 87 targets over 17 games last season.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Displaying consistency in camp
Rotowire
Douglas has been the Patriots' most consistent receiver in training camp thus far, according to Paul Perillo of the team's official site.
The third-year wideout logged 66 catches on 87 targets for 621 yards and three TDs in 17 regular-season games in 2024 and has been showing improvement as a route runner in camp. With Josh McDaniels having been brought back as the Patriots offensive coordinator ahead of the 2025 campaign, Douglas has an opportunity to make his mark in PPR formats, while working in an offensive system that tends to feature its top slot receiver. In addition to Douglas' strong showing, projected No. 1 wideout Stefon Diggs continues to look sharp as he bounces back from a knee injury, giving second-year quarterback Drake Maye a solid platform from which to grow as a passer.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Set to reprise role in slot
Rotowire
As training camp approaches, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site views Douglas as a lock to secure a role in the team's revamped wide receiver corps.
When healthy, free agent addition Stefon Diggs (knee) is projected to emerge as the team's WR1, with Douglas set to reprise his slot role in the offense. Meanwhile, rookie third-rounder Kyle Williams and newcomer Mack Hollins are also likely see their share of snaps in 2025, with Kendrick Bourne, Kayshon Boutte, Ja'Lynn Polk, Javon Baker and Efton Chism also in the mix for depth chart slotting. On the heels of a 2024 regular season in which he recorded 66 catches on 87 targets for 621 yards and three TDs in 17 games, Douglas should maintain enough volume in his third pro campaign to merit lineup consideration in deeper PPR formats, in particular if Drake Maye continues to make strides in his second year as New England's franchise QB.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Finds end zone in loss
Rotowire
Douglas caught four passes for 46 yards and one touchdown on five targets in Saturday's 40-7 loss to the Chargers.
Douglas' best catch was a 36-yard touchdown where Drake Maye found him in the end zone on a free penalty play. Douglas' other four targets produced only 10 yards, a reflection of the overall struggles facing the Patriots offense, but Douglas has made clear by this point that he's a quality wideout and one the Patriots would probably do well to feature more consistently, even if it means giving Douglas more snaps in two-wide sets. As long as the Patriots insist on giving Douglas snaps in only three-wide formations, there will be a hard cap on his fantasy upside, despite his apparent talents otherwise. Douglas and the Patriots take on the Bills in Week 18.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Four catches in loss
Rotowire
Douglas recorded four receptions on five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Bills.
Douglas played a complementary role in the loss, with both Kayshon Boutte and Hunter Henry enjoying more production and earning more targets. After seeing at least five targets in seven of New England's first 12 games, he's failed to hit that mark in three straight contests. Given his lack of explosive ability, that makes Douglas tough to trust down the stretch in matchups against the Chargers and Bills.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Cashes in short TD on Sunday
Rotowire
Douglas hauled in all three of his targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-17 loss to Arizona.
Douglas came out of New England's bye week in good health and rewarded deep-league managers with his second touchdown of the season. The sophomore starter has quietly provided value for those in PPR formats with a 55-508-2 receiving line through 14 games. With his ankle injury in the rearview mirror, Douglas remains serviceable to those in the aforementioned formats against the Bills next Sunday.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Likely to play Sunday
Rotowire
Douglas (ankle) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Colts, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Douglas was listed as a limited participant on all three of the Patriots' practice reports this week, but the team is apparently confident that he'll be able to play through the ankle issue Sunday. Official confirmation on Douglas' status will arrive when New England releases its inactive list around 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Since Drake Maye took over as the Patriots' starting quarterback beginning in Week 6, Douglas has produced a 30-324-1 receiving line on 42 targets in seven contests.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Team-high yardage in loss
Rotowire
Douglas secured five of seven targets for 62 yards and rushed once for one yard in the Patriots' 34-15 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Douglas finished with a co-team-high number of receptions while setting the pace in receiving yards for the Patriots on an unproductive afternoon for the offense overall. The second-year wideout has at least four catches in four consecutive games, and his yardage total Sunday was his highest since Week 6. Douglas' next opportunity to continue building rapport with rookie signal-caller Drake Maye comes in a Week 13 home matchup against the Colts.

Patriots' Demario Douglas: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
Douglas had six catches for 59 yards on nine targets in Week 5 against Miami in the final start for Jacoby Brissett. I hope he gets nine targets against the Dolphins in the rematch, with Drake Maye now under center. Douglas has five games this season with at least seven targets, and he scored at least 10.5 PPR points in all of them, including two outings with at least 14.8 PPR points. Five receivers have scored at least 14 PPR points against the Dolphins in their past four games, and I like Douglas as a No. 3 PPR receiver in Week 12.

Patriots' Demario Douglas: Week 12 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Douglas unfortunately may just hover in the 9-10.5 PPR point range he's been in for the past three games, which gives him a safe floor, but no ceiling. He hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6, which is his lone touchdown this year, and he's averaging just seven targets a week for the past three games. But I still believe in his talent, and I like his role with the Patriots as a go-to receiver for Drake Maye. In PPR, Douglas should be rostered in all leagues, and I would add him for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Patriots' Demario Douglas: Week 11 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
I'm still confident that Douglas and Drake Maye are going to start connecting for big games on a consistent basis, like we saw in Week 6 against Houston when Douglas had six catches for 92 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. They've had a hard time connecting on the field since, and both have been banged up as well in the past four weeks. That said, Douglas has the best potential to help Fantasy managers of New England's receiving corps, and he's worth stashing on your bench for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Four grabs in Sunday's win
Rotowire
Douglas caught four of five targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 19-3 win over the Bears.
Neither offense saw much success Sunday, but Douglas at least tied for the Patriots' lead in receptions with Kayshon Boutte, Douglas' 50 yards were his highest total since Week 6, and on the season he sports a modest 39-356-1 line on 53 targets through 10 games. The switch to rookie Drake Maye under center gives the New England passing attack more upside, but so far Douglas hasn't benefitted on a consistent basis. The slot receiver could make a bigger impact in Week 11 against the Rams.

Patriots' Demario Douglas: Stashes (WR Preview)
Rotowire
Douglas and Maye finally played another full game together and Douglas saw nine targets. The down side is that he only scored 10.5 PPR Fantasy points on those nine targets. I'm not ready to start him but I do want to make sure he's rostered in all of my PPR leagues.
