Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Another two-catch contest
Rotowire
Wicks was targeted four times and caught two passes for 19 yards in Sunday's 40-40 tie with the Cowboys.
Wicks would have had a chance for a long-gainer had teammate Matthew Golden not been in the same area on a deep ball from quarterback Jordan Love early in the contest, but he wound up finishing with just a pair of catches for the third time in four games. The playing time has slowly ticked up for Wicks, but the production hasn't followed suit, and he could be joined at practice by fellow wideout Christian Watson (knee) following Green Bay's Week 5 bye.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Week 4 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
It's hard to judge the Packers receivers from the Week 2 game at Cleveland since Jordan Love struggled, but it was the first outing without Jayden Reed (collarbone). Matthew Golden had the best game with four catches for 52 yards, but Wicks only had two catches for 21 yards on four targets, while Romeo Doubs (54 percent) had two catches for 25 yards on two targets. I like Wicks better than Doubs, but both are worth a look heading into Week 4 at Dallas in a dream matchup. Both can be added for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Two grabs in Week 3 loss
Rotowire
Wicks brought in two of four targets with 21 yards in the Packers' 13-10 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Wicks retained a minor role in the Packers' first full game without Jayden Reed (IR, collarbone/foot), actually seeing a two-target drop from Week 2. Wicks has at least two catches in each of his first three games, but he's yet to top 44 receiving yards in any contest as the Packers prepare to head to Dallas for a Week 4 matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday night.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
We'll see how the Packers replace Jayden Reed (collarbone), and Wicks, Romeo Doubs, and, hopefully, Matthew Golden should all benefit. I expect Wicks to see a spike in playing time, and he just had four catches for 44 yards on six targets in Week 2 against Washington after Reed was injured. Doubs is probably the safest Packers receiver to trust, and Golden should eventually have the most upside. But look for Wicks to be more involved against the Browns in Week 3, and I like him as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in deeper leagues.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Week 3 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
We'll see who benefits the most in Green Bay with Jayden Reed (collarbone) out, but Wicks saw a big boost in production in Week 2 against Washington after Reed got hurt. He had four catches for 44 yards on six targets against the Commanders, and he could emerge as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues if his role expands. Wicks is worth adding for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB, and I would add him first ahead of Romeo Doubs.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Four catches in Week 2 win
Rotowire
Wicks brought in four of six targets for 44 yards in the Packers' 27-18 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.
Wicks appeared to benefit from Jayden Reed's first-quarter exit due to a shoulder injury, as the former finished second across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Tucker Kraft. The third-year pro outpaced both Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden by one- and four-target margins, and it remains to be seen if he'll remain a primary beneficiary beginning with a Week 3 road matchup against the Browns on Sunday, Sept 21 after Reed was diagnosed with a broken collarbone that's expected to land him on injured reserve, per Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Ready for Week 2
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's contest against the Commanders, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Wicks was listed as limited on all three Week 2 practice reports, but he'll continue to play through the calf injury that has bothered him since late July. Fellow WRs Jayden Reed (foot) and Matthew Golden (ankle) also have been cleared for Thursday's game, so a similar workload to Week 1 for Wicks may be on tap. During Sunday's 27-13 victory versus the Lions, Wicks earned a 46 percent snap share, ran nine routes and finished with two catches (on two targets) for 30 yards.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Limited again Tuesday
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) was a limited participant during Tuesday's walk-through practice.
Though Green Bay listed Wicks as a limited participant on its second straight practice report, head coach Matt LaFleur hasn't indicated that the third-year receiver is in any real danger of sitting out Thursday's game against the Commanders. Wicks saw modest involvement as part of a deep rotation of pass catchers in Sunday's season-opening 27-13 win over the Lions, playing 21 snaps on offense on his way to a 2-30-0 line on two targets.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Remains limited by calf
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) was listed as limited on Monday's estimated injury report, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
The Packers didn't hold practice Monday, but Wicks was joined by two position mates on the report, as Jayden Reed (foot) was listed as a DNP and rookie Matthew Golden (ankle) was tagged as limited. Wicks himself has been tending to a calf injury since the early days of training camp, but he suited up Sunday versus the Lions and gathered in both of his targets for 30 yards while playing 46 percent (22 of 48) of the offensive snaps. Wednesday's practice/injury report may give some clarity on his status in advance of Thursday's contest against the Commanders.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Makes two receptions
Rotowire
Wicks was targeted twice and caught two passes for 30 yards in Sunday's 27-13 victory over the Lions.
A calf injury left Wicks uncertain for Week 1, but he suited up for the season opener and worked as a reserve wideout. He could get a bit more involved after averaging 4.5 targets per game a season ago, but even with Christian Watson (knee) sidelined he seemingly remains the fourth option among Packers receivers behind the trio of Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden and Romeo Doubs.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Questionable for Week 1
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Listed as a limited participant all week, Wicks is one of three Packers wideouts with a questionable designation, joining Jayden Reed (foot) and Savion Williams (hamstring). Wicks could have a sizable role come Sunday if he's active and Reed isn't, but Matthew Golden and Romeo Doubs still would be the much safer bets to pile up snaps/routes/targets for Green Bay. Kickoff is schedule for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Limited again Thursday
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) practiced on a limited basis Thursday.
Wicks is one of three Packers wide receivers to operate with a cap on his reps Thursday, the others being Jayden Reed (foot) and Savion Williams (hamstring). Reed actually returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday as he tends to a Jones fracture in his left foot, which has left his status up in the air for Week 1. In the end, Friday's injury report will provide a sense of each players' odds to suit up Sunday against the Lions, though an absent Reed and/or Williams could hand Wicks a higher target share than expected to begin the campaign.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Limited Wednesday
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.
Wicks has been tending to a calf injury since at least July 29 that kept him out of most practices and the entire preseason slate until he got back on the field last Wednesday. With a cap remaining on his reps to kick off Week 1 prep, he remains at less than 100 percent along with rookie third-round pick Savion Williams (hamstring), while Jayden Reed (foot) didn't participate at all Wednesday. The Packers thus have key question marks at wide receiver in advance of Sunday's contest against the Lions.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Resumes on-field work
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) took part in Wednesday's practice, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
Wicks was on and off the practice field in the early days of training camp due to a calf injury that kept him sidelined for all sessions and preseason games since Aug. 1. Both he and Jayden Reed (foot) mixed into drills Wednesday after lengthy absences, signaling that they're ramping up ahead of Week 1 preparations. Next Wednesday's practice report will reveal whether Wicks is a full participant or still operating with limitations.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Still not practicing
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) is not participating in practice Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Wicks' calf injury has forced him to miss back-to-back preseason games, meaning Saturday's exhibition finale against Seattle will be his finale chance to log game reps before the regular season. Malik Willis appears in line to draw a final preseason start Saturday with Jordan Love (thumb) not yet ready for 11-on-11 reps. Elsewhere in Green Bay's receiving corps, Jayden Reed (foot) and Savion Williams (hamstring) are not practicing, while Romeo Doubs returned from his back injury Monday.
Wicks (calf) isn't playing against the Jets in Green Bay's first preseason contest Saturday.
Wicks has been nursing a calf issue since late July and has been in and out of practice. As such, it's not surprising that he won't play Saturday, though there hasn't been any suggestion that the wideout's injury is a serious concern. Top wide receiver Jayden Reed (foot) is also sitting out Saturday's matchup, leaving rookie Matthew Golden and veteran Romeo Doubs as the top pass-catching options for Jordan Love, who is slated to see some action.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Sitting out practice again
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) is not participating in practice Thursday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Wicks has been managing a calf injury since late July, so it seems unlikely that he'll be in consideration to suit up for Saturday's preseason opener against the Jets. The third-year wideout appears to simply be managing a minor injury, though, as the Packers haven't expressed any concerns about his long-term availability. Jayden Reed (foot) is also sitting out practice Thursday.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Sidelined again
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) was unable to practice Saturday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
Wicks was bothered by a calf injury early in camp and has been on and off the practice field. After missing sessions early in the week, he was able to partially practice both Thursday and Friday. It's unclear if Wicks' lack of participation Saturday is the sign of a setback or is just maintenance.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Back at practice Thursday
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) is participating in practice Thursday, though he spent time off to the side on a stationary bike during 11-on-11 drills, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Wicks appears to be limited Thursday after a calf injury forced him to miss Green Bay's prior session on Tuesday (the team rested Wednesday). It's encouraging to see the third-year pro already back on the field, even if he's not yet cleared for team reps. Wicks is competing for standing in one of the league's most crowded wide receiver corps, and depending on how consistent a performance he's able to log throughout training camp and the preseason, there seems like a wide range of outcomes for his utilization in 2025.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Dealing with calf injury
Rotowire
Wicks (calf) is not practicing Tuesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Wicks participated in Green Bay's first five training camp practices but has now picked up a calf injury, and a timetable for his return hasn't yet surfaced. The Packers added first-round wideout Matthew Golden (who is already taking first-team reps), third-rounder Savion Williams and Mecole Hardman in free agency, providing increased competition for Wicks in a WR corps that also returns Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs, with Christian Watson (ACL) also tentatively working back into the mix later in the 2025 season. Wicks' separation skills are beyond repute, so if he can clean up his issues with drops (tied for third in the league with nine in 2024), he could take a step forward despite the added competition, but if consistency issues continue to plague the 2023 fifth-round pick he may simply fade into a murky rotation lower on the depth chart.
