Browns' Tyson Campbell: Seamless transition after trade
Campbell had a career-high 87 tackles (54 solo), two forced fumbles and one interception over a combined 17 regular-season games for Jacksonville and Cleveland in 2025.
Campbell was dealt from the playoff-bound Jaguars to the Browns after five games and didn't miss a beat with his new team. He forced a fumble in his first game following the trade then returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over the Dolphins in his second game. He's locked in for another three seasons and should line up opposite Denzel Ward at cornerback.

Browns' Tyson Campbell: Returns to Sunday's game
Campbell (shoulder) has returned to Sunday's game against the Bengals, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Campbell left Sunday's game due to a shoulder injury, but he has been cleared by medical staff to return. Denzel Ward (neck) will not return, so Sam Webb and D'Angelo Ross are slated for more work at outside corner opposite Campbell the rest of the way.

Campbell sustained the injury in the first quarter and went to the blue medical tent, where he is being assessed by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Campbell's practice reps were limited earlier in the week, but he's ready to roll after piling up a career-high 10 tackles in last Sunday's win over the Raiders. Campbell should see a lot of Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall in coverage against the 49ers.

Campbell logged 10 tackles (seven solo) and two pass defenses during the Browns' 24-10 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
Campbell played a key role in the Browns' dominant defensive showing Sunday with a career-high 10 tackles, which was second most on the team behind rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger (11). It was the fifth time this year that Campbell played every single defensive snap, and the fifth-year corner has accumulated 34 tackles (22 solo), six pass defenses and one forced fumble across five regular-season games with Cleveland.
