Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Career year in 2025
Tremble caught all three of his targets for 22 yards during Saturday's 34-31 wild-card loss to the Rams.
Tremble made his presence felt during the Panthers' wild-card loss, finishing as the team's third-leading receiver while hauling in all of his targets. The fifth-year pro from Notre Dame signed a two-year extension with Carolina last offseason and quickly validated the move, setting career highs in both receptions (27) and yards (249) during the 2025 season. With Tremble, Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle, IR) and Mitchell Evans all under contract for 2026, Carolina's tight-end room will likely remain crowded heading into next season.

Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Big game without Sanders
Tremble caught three of four targets for 38 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 16-14 loss to the Buccaneers.
With Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle, IR) out for the Week 18 divisional matchup, Tremble assumed more of a receiving role in the Panthers' tight end room. The Notre Dame product finished as Carolina's third-leading receiver and caught Bryce Young's first touchdown pass of the day. Tremble has appeared in all 17 of the Panthers' regular-season games this year, catching 27 of 37 targets for 249 yards and two touchdowns. Carolina now needs Atlanta to beat New Orleans on Sunday to force a three-way tie for the NFC South title. In that scenario, the Panthers would hold the tiebreaker and make the playoffs as the NFC's No. 4 seed.

Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Logs six yards in loss
Tremble caught his lone target for six yards during Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Seahawks.
Tremble tied Chuba Hubbard for the third-most receiving yards on the Panthers during Sunday's loss, as the Seahawks' defense held Carolina to just 54 passing yards. Tremble, a fourth-year pro from Notre Dame, has now caught 24 of 33 targets for 211 yards and a touchdown across 16 appearances this season. With Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) out for the rest of the year, Tremble will likely have an expanded role as a pass catcher in the Week 18 matchup against the Buccaneers on Saturday.

It appears Tremble's role in Carolina's offense has shrunk over the past four games, as he's caught just four of seven targets for 21 yards during that span. Tremble received just four total targets in the Panthers' previous four games, but he matched that total during Sunday's loss. The increase in volume didn't translate to production, as finished the divisional matchup with the fourth-most receiving yards on the team. Tremble has now caught 22 of 31 targets for 199 yards and a touchdown across 14 appearances this season. The 25-year-old and Ja'Tavion Sanders have combined for two receptions on three targets for eight yards over the Panthers' last two games, suggesting rookie Mitchell Evans may be emerging as the team's top tight end. Tremble has now caught 20 of 27 targets for 186 yards and a touchdown across 13 appearances this season, and he likely will carry minimal fantasy value once Carolina returns from bye in the Week 15 matchup against the Saints.
