  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Torn ACL confirmed

Parsons (knee) has been confirmed to have suffered a torn left ACL after undergoing an MRI on Monday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports. Parsons suffered the non-contact injury late in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Broncos and now faces a recovery timetable that will sideline him for the remainder of 2025 and could impact his availability for the start of the 2026 campaign. The Packers will now be forced to rely on a combination of Lukas Van Ness, Kingsley Enagbare and Arron Mosby to step up alongside Rashan Gary to account for Parsons' absence, though filling the All-Pro's shoes will be a difficult task. Expect Parsons to be placed on IR in the near future as he turns his attention toward making a full recovery for 2026.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Torn ACL feared

The Packers' initial belief is that Parsons sustained a torn ACL in his left knee during Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Broncos, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Parsons departed for the locker room late in the third quarter after going down with a non-contact injury to his left knee. He'll undergo further tests to determine the exact severity of the injury, but if an ACL tear is confirmed, the fifth-year edge rusher will be sidelined for the rest of the 2025 season and could miss the start of the 2026 campaign. Lukas Van Ness and Kingsley Enagbare would likely serve as the primary replacements for Parsons at the defensive end spot opposite Rashan Gary.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Exits after non-contact knee injury

Parsons is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Broncos due to a left knee injury. Parsons suffered a non-contact injury to his left knee late in the third quarter while pursuing Bo Nix on a pass rush. Parsons had to be helped off the field and into the locker room, and while he hasn't been ruled out, it seems unlikely that the All-Pro pass rusher will return to Sunday's game. Assuming Parsons is done for the day, Lukas Van Ness and Kingsley Enagbare are slated for more snaps at defensive end opposite starter Rashan Gary.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Quiet output in Week 14 win

Parsons finished Sunday's 28-21 victory against Chicago with one assisted tackle and two QB hits. Parsons reached Chicago QB Caleb Williams on two occasions, but he wasn't able to extend his sack streak to three games. The talented pass rusher still has a good chance of surpassing his career-best regular-season mark of 14.0 sacks, as he's at 12.5 sacks with four games left on the schedule.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Huge output on Thanksgiving Day

Parsons logged eight tackles (four solo), including 2.5 sacks, three total tackles for a loss and four total QB hits during the Packers' 31-24 win over the Lions on Thursday. It was another big day for Parsons, who has logged at least 1.5 sacks for a third straight game and the fourth time this season. His first takedown of Jared Goff came in the first quarter in combination with Kingsley Enagbare, resulting in a six-yard loss. Parsons added two solo sacks on Goff in the fourth quarter, both resulting in eight-yard losses as the All-Pro pass rusher's efforts helped limit the Lions' offensive output in the second half. Parsons is now up to 12.5 sacks through 12 regular-season games, and he is close to matching his career-high output as a member of the Cowboys during the 2023 campaign (14.0 sacks across 17 regular-season games). Next up for Parsons and the Packers is another NFC North clash in Week 14 against the Bears on Sunday, Dec. 7.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Remains limited in practice

Parsons (pectoral) recorded a limited practice session Thursday. Parsons has been dealing with the pec injury for the last few weeks. He has been limited in each practice since Week 10, but that hasn't resulted in him missing any game action. As such, Parsons should be expected to suit up Sunday versus Minnesota provided he practices in some capacity again Friday.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Ends sack drought in Week 11

Parsons recorded six total tackles (one solo), including 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Giants. The All-Pro edge rusher went without a sack in each of his last two games prior to Sunday's win. He got after Jameis Winston in the second half and even notched a strip-sack on the last play of the game. Through his first 10 games in Green Bay, Parsons has now recorded 28 total tackles, including 8.0 sacks (tied for the seventh most in the NFL), and one forced fumble. Parson next sets his sights on the struggling J.J. McCarthy in a Week 12 divisional clash against the Vikings.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Estimated as limited Wednesday

Parsons (pectoral) was limited on Wednesday's estimated practice report. Parsons was limited by the pectoral issue in practice last week but didn't have an injury designation ahead of Monday night's loss to the Eagles and played his normal allotment of snaps on defense, producing just two tackles (one solo) on 84 percent of the downs. Parsons has recorded 22 tackles (11 solo), including 6.5 sacks, and 14 QB hits on 75 percent of the defensive snaps across nine games in his first season with Green Bay.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Good to go Week 10

Parsons (pectoral) does not carry an injury designation into Monday's game against the Eagles, Wes Hodklewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Parson logged a trio of limited practices while tending to a pectoral injury, but the fifth-year pass rusher has been cleared to play in Week 10. Parsons has logged 6.5 sacks through eight regular-season games, which is second most on the Packers behind Rashan Gary (7.5) and 10th most in the NFL.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Picks up another sack

Parsons recorded one solo tackle, including 1.0 sacks, during Green Bay's win over the Steelers on Sunday. Parsons has now brought his sack total to 6.5 across seven regular-season appearances with Green Bay. That total puts him at sixth in the league, trailing teammate Rashan Gary (7.5 sacks). Parsons will have a chance to add to his impressive numbers Week 9 at home against the Panthers. Bryce Young (ankle) could have his mobility hampered if cleared to suit up, and veteran backup Andy Dalton looked overwhelmed while taking seven sacks versus Buffalo in Week 8.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Racks up three sacks

Parsons recorded five tackles (four solo) and a career-high 3.0 sacks in Sunday's 27-23 victory over the Cardinals. Parsons had registered 2.0 or 2.5 sacks on several occasions, but he had never before taken down the quarterback three times himself until his sixth game with the Packers. Thanks to the surge Parsons is up to 5.5 sacks, which ties him for sixth in the league with two games to go in Week 7.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Sacks Prescott in return to Dallas

Parsons tallied three tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Green Bay's 40-40 tie to Dallas on Sunday. Parsons was able to overcome a lingering back injury to play Sunday against the team that selected him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was quiet for most of the night, but he was credited for a crucial sack on Dak Prescott while the Cowboys were in the red zone, which led to a Brandon Aubrey 22-yard field goal two plays later. The Packers are on a bye for Week 5, so the extra week off should help Parsons with his back issue that stemmed from training camp. He's up to 2.5 sacks through four games, and he'll look to add to that total in the Packers' Week 6 tilt against the Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 12.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Limited to open week

Parsons (back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday. Parsons recorded two solo tackles in the team's 13-10 loss to the Browns in Week 3, and he may have exacerbated his previous back injury in the contest. The defensive lineman will have two more opportunities to log a full practice prior to Sunday night's matchup with the Cowboys.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Sees increased work vs. Washington

Parsons logged two assisted tackles, including 0.5 sacks, during the Packers' 27-18 win over the Commanders on Thursday. Parsons was limited to just 30 defensive snaps in his Packers debut against the Lions this past Sunday due to a lingering back issue. He was cleared to play Thursday and saw an uptick in playing time, seeing the field for 47 snaps on defense. He combined with Edgerrin Cooper on a 10-yard sack on Jayden Daniels early in the third quarter, and Parsons led both teams with three QB hits. The addition of Parsons has fortified the Packers' defense, which has yielded just 31 points over the first two games of the regular season against teams who made the NFC playoffs in 2024. The Packers' next contest takes place Sunday, Sept. 21 against the Browns in Cleveland, and the additional rest should help Parsons in seeing his snap count on defense increase for a second straight week.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Suiting up again

Parsons (back) is listed as active Thursday against the Commanders, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports. The Packers continue to take a cautious approach with Parsons' back injury, listing him as limited on all three practice reports for a second consecutive week. Now that he again has received the all clear for game action, his workload will be of interest just four days removed from earning 30 of 67 defensive snaps (45 percent) in a Week 1 win versus the Lions. While Washington QB Jayden Daniels is noted for his mobility, Parsons notched 4.5 sacks of him in six quarters of play in two matchups between the Cowboys and Commanders during the 2024 season.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Status in question for Week 2

Parsons (back) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Commanders, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. For a second week in a row to begin his tenure with the Packers, Parsons' status technically is up in the air for game action, but he still suited up for his debut with the team this past Sunday against the Lions and recorded his first sack in Green and Gold. His status will be confirmed, one way or another, about 90 minutes before Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Still limited at practice

Coach Matt LaFleur said Parsons (back) remained limited at Thursday's practice, Zach Kruse of USA Today reports. Per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, LaFleur added that the Packers' training staff didn't need to adjust its plan for Parsons after he also was limited at Wednesday's padded practice. Since Parsons was traded from Dallas to Green Bay last Thursday, it's been revealed that he's been tending to a joint sprain in his back, which spurred his former team to order up a five-day plan of an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid prior to the deal. Despite Parsons still being hampered by the injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Thursday that the pass rusher is expected to be available for Sunday's season opener against the Lions, though it what capacity remains to be seen.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Still nursing back injury

Parsons is managing a joint sprain in his back and may require an epidural injection in order to play in Sunday's season opener versus the Lions, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. The Cowboys had reportedly prescribed Parsons a five-day plan of an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid before the team traded him to Green Bay on Thursday in exchange for two future first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark. While Parsons has practiced since arriving to the Packers' facilities and is pushing to play Week 1, his availability for the season opener isn't fully guaranteed. As such, Parsons' listings on the Packers' three injury reports this week will be worth monitoring closely to get a sense of his chances of suiting up Sunday.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Traded to GB, gets massive deal

Parsons is being traded to Green Bay from Dallas and has agreed to terms with the Packers on a four-year, $188 million dollar contract extension, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Parsons gets a massive new extension and becomes the immediate leader of Green Bay's pass rush, in a deal done just over one week in advance of the Packers' regular-season opener against Detroit. The three-time All-Pro will provide an immediate boost to his new team, and the full details regarding Dallas' trade compensation will follow shortly.

  • Cowboys' Micah Parsons: Day-to-day due to back injury

Parsons (back) is day-to-day, head coach Brian Schottenheimer said Friday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. Parsons wasn't on the field Thursday because he was getting some work done on his back. The star pass rusher has yet to take part in practice or drills in camp while embroiled in a contract dispute, and his status for Week 1 will grow increasingly uncertain the longer it takes the Cowboys to reach an agreement with him on an extension.
