  Rotowire Oct 18, 2026

Atwell (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Atwell is a healthy scratch for Sunday's contest. Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield and Alex Bachman are the five active receivers over Atwell.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: One catch in victory

  Rotowire Sep 22, 2026

Atwell caught one of two targets for 19 yards during Monday night's 28-6 win over the Giants. Atwell remained an afterthought in the offense, even with Puka Nacua (hip) unavailable, and only played 11 of the team's 62 offensive snaps. He ranked behind Konata Mumpfield (43), Davante Adams (40) and Xavier Smith (26) at wide receiver in offensive snaps, and even if Nacua remains inactive for a Week 3 tilt versus Denver, Atwell will have limited appeal.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Inactive for season opener

  Rotowire Sep 10, 2026

Atwell (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's tilt against the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports. Atwell was with the Dolphins during the offseason until the Rams traded for him Aug. 27, though he should be fairly well-versed in the team's playbook after spending each of the past five campaigns with Los Angeles. It seemed Atwell could have a fairly big role in the Dolphins' thin wideout corps, but now that he's back with the Rams, he'll be competing with the likes of Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith and Jordan Whittington for playing time (and active status) behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. It remains to be seen if Nacua will be suspended by the league at some point; if that were to happen, Atwell could move into a more significant role.

• Dolphins' Tutu Atwell: Traded back to Rams

  Rotowire Aug 27, 2026

Atwell was traded to the Rams on Thursday in exchange for running back Jarquez Hunter, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Atwell joined the Rams over the offseason after spending five seasons with the Rams, but he will return to his old stomping grounds before the regular season gets underway. He will compete with the likes of Jordan Whittington and Konata Mumpfield for snaps behind starters Puka Nacua (groin) and Davante Adams.

• Dolphins' Tutu Atwell: Second-teamer on first depth chart

  Rotowire Aug 11, 2026

Atwell is listed with the second-team offense on the Dolphins' first unofficial depth chart of training camp, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Fellow wide receivers Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert and rookie third-round pick Caleb Douglas composed the first team, while rookie fifth-rounder Kevin Coleman (undisclosed) and Jalen Reagor joined Atwell on the second unit. Depth charts at this time of year need to be taken with a grain of salt, but Washington, Tolbert and Atwell seemed to have separated themselves as the top three WRs through the first week of camp, so Douglas getting listed ahead of Atwell is curious. In the end, how Atwell and Douglas fare in the preseason will carry more weight in determining who gets more regular-season reps in three-wide sets.

• Dolphins' Tutu Atwell: Emerging atop depth chart

  Rotowire Aug 4, 2026

Atwell has separated himself as a top three receiver with the Dolphins this offseason, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports. Veterans Jalen Tolbert, Malik Washington and Atwell appear to have the early leg up on rookies Caleb Douglas and Kevin Coleman while Chris Bell (knee) remains on the active/NFI list. Jalen Reagor, Tahj Washington and Theo Wease are other contenders in the competition for snaps at receiver in Miami, and this is expected to be a position battle that spans the duration of the season for a rebuilding Dolphins team. It remains to be seen if any of these receivers will be fantasy options in 2026.

• Dolphins' Tutu Atwell: Miami native returning home

  Rotowire Mar 12, 2026

Atwell is signing a one-year contract with the Dolphins, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Thursday. Atwell had 1,535 receiving yards and five touchdown catches in five regular seasons with the Rams. The Miami native should help the Dolphins stretch the field with his speed. Atwell joins a wide receiver room that doesn't have much depth behind Jaylen Waddle (ribs), as no wide receiver besides Waddle (910) exceeded 317 receiving yards for Miami in 2025.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Not playing Sunday

  Rotowire Jan 25, 2026

Atwell (coach's decision) is a healthy inactive for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Seahawks. For the second week in a row, Atwell will be in street clothes while the Rams move forward with Konata Mumpfield, Jordan Whittington, Xavier Smith and Mario Williams as their depth options at receiver behind starters Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Records 10 snaps on offense

  Rotowire Jan 5, 2026

Atwell secured one of three targets for 19 yards during Sunday's 37-20 victory against the Cardinals. Even with Davante Adams (hamstring) out and Jordan Whittington (knee) leaving the game early with injury, Atwell was on the field for just a handful of snaps on offense. The one-year, $10 million deal Atwell signed in the offseason will leave the speedster as an unrestricted free agent after the postseason, and he'll do so after his worst statistical season since his rookie year with the Rams in 2021. Atwell played just 10 games this season and caught six of his 15 targets for 192 yards and a touchdown, a stark drop from 2024 when he finished with a 42-562-0 receiving line over 17 games. Even if Adams and Whittington are unavailable for Saturday's wild-card round matchup with the Panthers, Puka Nacua, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith will likely record the bulk of work at receiver, leaving Atwell in his typical role as a scarcely used deep threat.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Typical usage in loss

  Rotowire Dec 30, 2025

Atwell failed to secure his only target during Monday's 27-24 loss to the Falcons. The only target that Atwell managed to earn during his 13 snaps on offense came late in the fourth quarter on a deep ball from Matthew Stafford that bounced off of Atwell's outstretched hands. In his three games back from injury, Atwell has recorded a total of just 25 snaps on offense and only one catch for nine yards, keeping him well off the fantasy radar with the regular-season finale against the Cardinals up next in Week 18.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Light duty in first game back

  Rotowire Dec 15, 2025

Atwell secured one of two targets for nine yards during Sunday's 41-34 victory against the Lions. In his return from a six-game absence due to a hamstring injury, Atwell took the field for just four plays on offense but managed targets on half of them. Konata Mumpfield has had an expanded role in recent weeks on offense due to Atwell's absence but hasn't done much with his opportunities, leaving the door open for Atwell to reclaim the No. 3 position at wideout for the Rams. With Davante Adams (hamstring) potentially unavailable for a pivotal Week 16 Thursday night showdown against division rival Seattle, Atwell may be thrust into a much more prolific role alongside Puka Nacua if Adams is unable to go.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Active in Week 15

  Rotowire Dec 14, 2025

Atwell (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Lions. The speedy wideout will be available to Matthew Stafford for the first time since Week 7 after overcoming a hamstring injury and being activated from injured reserve Saturday. Atwell has been a full participant in practice for each of the past two weeks, which should alleviate some concerns about his chances for re-injury. Atwell could walk back into a role of some significance as the No. 3 receiver Sunday considering the expected game environment against a potent Lions offense that figures to keep the pressure on Los Angeles throughout.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Activated from IR

  Rotowire Dec 13, 2025

The Rams activated Atwell (hamstring) from injured reserve Saturday. Atwell doesn't have a designation for Sunday's tilt against the Lions, so his activation from injured reserve indicates that he's available to return from a six-game absence due to a hamstring injury. If he's active, Atwell will compete with Xavier Smith and Jordan Whittington for snaps at the WR3 spot behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams (hamstring). Prior to his extended absence, Atwell caught four passes (one nine targets) for 164 yards and one touchdown across six regular-season games.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Coming off IR soon

  Rotowire Dec 10, 2025

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Atwell (hamstring) will be activated from injured reserve this week, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. Atwell is approaching the end of his 21-day practice window, which means he either needs to be activated to the roster or ruled out on IR for the rest of the season. The Rams plan to activate him following two straight weeks of full participation in every practice. The decision to not activate Atwell earlier suggests he's unlikely to have a major role down the stretch.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Unlikely to come off IR this week

  Rotowire Dec 5, 2025

Atwell (hamstring) isn't expected to be activated from injured reserve for Sunday's game at Arizona, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports. Atwell has been a full practice participant for the past two weeks, so this may be the equivalent of a healthy scratch. He can practice for another week without coming off injured reserve, but the Rams will need to activate him by mid-December if he's going to play again this season. Xavier Smith, Jordan Whittington and Konata Mumpfield have all seen playing time behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams in recent weeks.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Another full practice

  Rotowire Dec 3, 2025

Atwell (hamstring) practiced in full Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports. Atwell now has been listed as full on four consecutive injury reports, but coach Sean McVay wouldn't commit Wednesday to the Rams activating the fifth-year pro from injured reserve, citing a numbers game, per Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register. Fortunately for the Rams, they have exactly two more weeks to make such a decision.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Not returning in Week 13

  Rotowire Nov 29, 2025

Atwell (hamstring) wasn't activated off IR ahead of Sunday's matchup versus Carolina, Mike Masala of Rams Wire reports. Atwell was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday and logged three full practices this week. Head coach Sean McVay expressed upon Atwell's return to practice that he expected the wideout to be activated for Sunday's contest against the Panthers, but that didn't end up happening by Saturday's deadline. Atwell will now look to make his return to game action next Sunday against Arizona.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Full practice Wednesday

  Rotowire Nov 26, 2025

Atwell (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. The Rams placed Atwell on injured reserve after Week 7, and after missing the requisite four games and getting designated for return Wednesday, he didn't have any restrictions in his first practice since then. He thus appears poised to play Sunday at Carolina, but he'll need to be activated from IR by Saturday afternoon in order to have a chance to do so.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Practice window opens

  Rotowire Nov 26, 2025

The Rams designated Atwell (hamstring) to return from injured reserve Wednesday. Atwell now kicks off his 21-day practice window, though head coach Sean McVay has already stated that the 2021 second-round pick is expected to retake the field in time for Sunday's road matchup against the Panthers. In order for Atwell to play Week 13, however, Los Angeles will first have to add him to the 53-man roster. Once back in action, Atwell will resume contributing as a complementary deep threat behind starting wideouts Puka Nacua, Davante Adams and Jordan Whittington.

• Rams' Tutu Atwell: Sent to IR

  Rotowire Oct 27, 2025

The Rams placed Atwell (hamstring) on injured reserve Monday. Atwell missed Week 6 due to a hamstring injury and handled just 10 offensive snaps while playing through the issue Week 7. Now coming off Los Angeles' bye, it appears he suffered a setback of some sort. The undersized deep threat now will be forced to miss at least the next four games while on IR, making his first opportunity to retake the field Sunday, Nov. 30 versus the Panthers in Week 13. On a positive note for the Rams, Puka Nacua (ankle) could be back in action Week 9.
