Jack Colletto: Let go from practice squad
The Steelers waived Colletto from the practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
The move makes room on the Steelers' practice squad for running back La'Mical Perine. Colletto wasn't able to catch on with Pittsburgh's 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp, but he opted to stick around on the practice squad. Assuming he clears waivers, the 25-year-old fullback will look to join a team in need of blocking out of the backfield.

The Steelers signed Colletto to the practice squad Thursday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Colletto was unable to stick on with the Steelers' 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. He'll stick around on the taxi squad and could be elevated to the active roster if Pittsburgh is in need of backfield blocking.

Jack Colletto: Latches on with Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Colletto to their practice squad on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Colletto spent the early part of the campaign on San Francisco's practice squad before being released last Wednesday. It didn't take him long to find a new team, as he'll now look to make an impression with Pittsburgh. The rookie fullback wasn't taken in the 2023 draft after making the All-Pac 12 First Team as a senior last year, when he scored six touchdowns on the ground while converting 27 carries into 103 yards and three catches into 46 yards over 11 games.

Jack Colletto: Let go by San Francisco
The 49ers released Colletto from their practice squad Wednesday.
Colletto and Marlon Davidson were both let go in order to make room on the practice squad for Ilm Manning and Jeremy McNichols. The rookie undrafted free agent signed with San Francisco in May and will now look for another opportunity elsewhere.

Jack Colletto: Returns to San Fran
The 49ers signed Colletto to their practice squad Wednesday.
A rookie UDFA, Colletto will get to spend his first NFL season as depth behind one of the best fullbacks ever in Kyle Juszczyk. However, barring an injury to Juszczyk, Colletto likely won't get many opportunities on the active roster in 2023.

Jack Colletto: Cut by 49ers
The 49ers waived Colletto on Tuesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Colletto signed with the 49ers in May as an undrafted free agent and had the opportunity to learn from one of the best fullbacks in the game as Kyle Juszczyk's apprentice. With the latter being inked on the roster, and the unlikeliness of San Francisco keeping two fullbacks through final cuts, this was always the rookie's likely destination. Still, a practice squad opportunity in his future would not be surprising.
