  • Dolphins' Reese Taylor: Claimed off waivers by Miami

The Dolphins claimed Taylor (concussion) off waivers from the Broncos on Monday. Taylor was waived by the Broncos on Sunday, but it didn't take long for the Purdue product to find a new home in Miami. He entered the league's concussion protocol during Denver's preseason finale against Minnesota on Friday, but it appears he's no longer in protocol and is on track to be available for Miami's Week 1 clash against Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 13. Taylor appeared in four regular-season games for the Broncos last year, logging two solo tackles while contributing solely on special teams.

  • Broncos' Reese Taylor: Enters concussion protocol

Taylor has entered the league's concussion protocol and will not return to Friday's preseason game against the Vikings, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Taylor appeared to sustain the injury while making a tackle. He was able to walk off the field under his own power before being taken to the locker room, where medical staff diagnosed the 27-year-old with a concussion that will keep him sidelined for the rest of Friday's exhibition contest. Taylor will finish his outing with one assisted tackle.

  • Broncos' Reese Taylor: Sits out preseason opener

Taylor sat out Saturday's 30-9 preseason victory over 49ers with a minor hamstring issue, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports. Taylor was previously understood to be healthy heading into the team's preseason opener, but he was ultimately inactive for the contest. The cornerback has been around Denver each of the last two seasons, and he's competing for a backup role at slot cornerback in 2025.
