Pittsburgh waived Hagans on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Hagans finds himself among a slew of roster cuts by the Steelers on Monday. The undrafted rookie out of Virginia State will get a chance to search for a depth opportunity on a practice squad elsewhere in the league if Pittsburgh doesn't ring him for a return.

Steelers' Darius Hagans: Inks deal with Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Hagans on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Hagans signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in May, but he was let go at the start of June and has quickly found a new home. The 23-year-old running back rushed for 1,012 yards for Virginia State in 2022.

Darius Hagans: Waived by Colts
Hagans was waived by the Colts on Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Hagans signed with Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent May 5, but he will now be looking for a new opportunity. The running back rushed for 1,012 yards with Virginia State last season and will likely find another suitor in the near future. The transaction opened a roster spot for defensive lineman Genard Avery.
