  • Ravens' Bilhal Kone: Cleared to return to practice

The Ravens removed Kone (knee) from the active/PUP list Friday after he passed his physical, Clifton Brown and Quentin Corpuel of the Ravens' official site reports.

A sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Kone was sidelined for his entire rookie year while recovering from a torn MCL and ACL that he sustained during the preseason. He's been cleared to participate in training camp practices, and the Western Michigan product's clearest path to a spot on the 53-man roster figures to be as a contributor on special teams rather than as a rotational piece in the Ravens' secondary.

  • Ravens' Bilhal Kone: Starting camp on PUP

The Ravens placed Kone (knee) on the active/PUP list Saturday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.

Kone was a sixth-round selection of the Ravens in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after tearing his MCL and ACL in a preseason game in early August. Kone will be eligible to participate in practices once fully healthy, and training camp will provide him with an opportunity to earn a depth spot in the Ravens' cornerback rotation.

  • Ravens' Bilhal Kone: Participating in OTAs

Kone (knee) has been taking part in Baltimore's OTAs.

After being selected by the Ravens in the sixth round of last year's NFL Draft, Kone spent his entire rookie campaign on IR due to a torn ligament in his left knee, which he suffered during a preseason contest. The 24-year-old appears to have since fully recovered given his ability to participate in OTAs. Kone is slated to compete for a depth role in Baltimore's secondary during the preseason.

Kone tore a ligament in his left knee during the Ravens' preseason game against the Colts, and he will miss the entire 2025 season as a result. With Kone out for 2025, the Ravens bolstered their depth at cornerback by signing M.J. Devonshire.

Kone is out for the season after suffering a torn ligament in his left knee during Thursday's preseason game against the Colts, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Kone got tangled up in coverage late in the first quarter of Thursday's game and appeared to suffer a serious knee injury. That suspicion was quickly confirmed, and Kone will now be sidelined for his entire rookie season.

  • Ravens' Bilhal Kone: Suffers potentially serious injury

Kone was ruled out of Thursday's preseason game with the Colts due to a knee injury.

There has been no official diagnosis of the injury, but Kone immediately fell to the ground in significant pain after making a play in coverage late in the first quarter. He was put in an air cast and carted off the field, so he appears likely to miss a significant period of time.

  • Ravens' Bilhal Kone: Ravens add sixth-round cornerback

The Ravens selected Kone in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 178th overall.

Kone (6-foot-1, 190 pounds) is a corner with height and speed (4.43-second 40-yard dash) who had to work his way up through the collegiate minors by playing two years at Iowa Central Community College and one year at Indiana State before playing his final two seasons at Western Michigan. Kone will likely compete with 2024 fourth-round pick T.J. Tampa for the third boundary corner spot behind Nate Wiggins and Chidobe Awuzie.
