Saints' Oscar Delp: Dealing with hamstring injury
Delp is nursing a hamstring injury at training camp with the Saints, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Delp has caught three of six targets for 10 yards and a touchdown over the Saints' two preseason games this year, though all of that production came in the team's preseason opener. The 23-year-old was selected in the third round of this year's draft, and he's competing with veteran Noah Fant for the top reserve role at tight end behind Juwan Johnson this year. It's unclear what the severity of his injury is, but Delp will have a couple of chances to shake off the injury at practice before Friday's preseason finale versus Dallas.

Saints' Oscar Delp: Finds end zone in preseason opener
Delp caught three of six targets for 10 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason loss to Jacksonville.
Delp's touchdown came on a pass from Zach Wilson on a play from the 1-yard line. It wasn't all roses for the rookie tight end, however, as he also had multiple drops. Delp is looking to cement a spot as the Saints' No. 3 tight end behind Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant, and his TD should help his case despite the uneven performance.

Saints' Oscar Delp: Drawing targets during minicamp
Delp returned to team drills Tuesday after he dealt with a hamstring issue during the Saints' OTAs, Ross Jackson of LouisianaSports.net reports.
Delp didn't get a ton of opportunities as a pass catcher in college, but the third-round rookie demonstrated great speed when he ran a 4.49-second 40-yard dash at Georgia's Pro Day back in March. Now that he's fully healthy again, he'll compete for snaps and targets at tight end behind starter Juwan Johnson.

Saints' Oscar Delp: Snagged by Saints
The Saints selected Delp (foot) in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 73rd overall.
Delp (6-foot-5, 245 pounds) sat out drills at the 2026 Combine while recovering from a hairline fracture in his left foot, but he took part in Georgia's Pro Day and logged an impressive 4.49-second 40-yard dash. Despite having started the last three of his four seasons with Georgia, Delp never tallied 25 catches or 300 receiving yards in a single year. Playing alongside Brock Bowers limited Delp's production early in his career, but expectations that he would develop into a featured pass catcher for the Bulldogs in his junior or senior seasons never truly materialized. As a rookie in New Orleans, Delp may have a difficult task competing for reps as the No. 3 tight end behind Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant.
