  • Broncos' Tycen Anderson: Joining Denver

Anderson agreed to a deal with the Broncos on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The fifth-round pick of the Bengals in 2022 has seen a grand total of 64 defensive snaps in his NFL career, though he has become a consistent special-teams player, seeing over 300 snaps in that role in each of the last two seasons. Anderson should compete for a depth safety and special-teams role in Denver, too.

  • Bengals' Tycen Anderson: Participating in training camp

Anderson (knee) is healthy again, John Sheeran of AZ Sports reports. Anderson has fully recovered from a torn ACL he suffered during Week 8 of last season. The 2022 fifth-round pick will now spend the remainder of the summer competing for a roster spot, where he can add value both as a reserve defender and as a special teamer.

  • Bengals' Tycen Anderson: Lands on IR

The Bengals placed Anderson (knee) on IR on Friday. Anderson, who suffered a left knee injury in this past Sunday's win over San Francisco, will miss at least four games, meaning the soonest that he can be activated for game action is Dec. 4 against the Jaguars. In seven contests to date, the reserve safety has recorded eight tackles.

  • Bengals' Tycen Anderson: Cincy bound

The Bengals selected Anderson in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 166th overall. Cincinnati moved up in a deal with Chicago in order to secure Anderson out of Toledo. Anderson is one of the most athletic safeties in this class. He ran a 4.36 in the 40-yard dash and a 6.64 in the three-cone drill, both of which rate above the 90th percentile at his position. He's not just an athlete, though. Anderson racked up 84 tackles as a junior in 2019 and broke up 21 passes in his college career. This is a good landing spot for him as he'll get to learn behind Jessie Bates and Vonn Bell.
