  • 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Questionable with calf issue

Lenoir (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Lenoir was unable to practice Friday after feeling tightness during Thursday's session, and he now awaits MRI results to explore the severity of the injury. The starting cornerback's chance of playing is likely tied to the results of the MRI as well as his mobility. A good result could mean the ability to play in Sunday's divisional matchup, but if the 26-year-old is unable to suit up, Darrell Luter will likely get a start at cornerback.

Lenoir was on the field for 65 defensive snaps in Week 7 versus the Falcons, so it's not immediately clear when he suffered the injury. Lenoir (hip) was not listed on the 49er's injury report Wednesday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. • 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Won't play Sunday

Lenoir (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports. Lenoir appears to have sustained a shoulder injury in the 49ers' Week 17 loss to the Lions, despite playing 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps and recording nine total tackles. The Oregon product was unable to practice all week due to this issue, making it no surprise he won't suit up in Week 18. With Lenoir sidelined Sunday, Rock Ya-Sin or Isaac Yiadom (pelvis, questionable) will likely serve as one of San Francisco's starting cornerbacks.
