Texans' Jake Hummel: Questionable to return with abdominal issue
Hummel (abdomen) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Bills.
Hummel went down in the third quarter with an abdominal injury. The starting outside linebacker signed with the Texans in March on a two-year deal. Wade Woodaz will likely play most of the starting snaps opposite Henry To'oTo'o in Hummel's absence.

Texans' Jake Hummel: Signs with Houston
Hummel is slated to sign a two-year deal with the Texans, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
Hummel played all 17 regular-season games for the Ravens in 2025, collecting 18 tackles (nine solo) in his primarily special-teams role. The linebacker was only called to play more than two defensive snaps once, which occurred in Baltimore's Week 4 loss to the Chiefs, where he logged 28 defensive snaps on top of his 22 special-teams snaps. Hummel makes a strong special-teams addition with upside as a reserve linebacker for a dominant Texans defense.

Hummel (hand) was activated off the active/non-football injury list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
After being sidelined the first week of training camp, Hummel is ready to start practicing. The 26-year-old spent the first three years of his career with the Rams before signing with Baltimore in March. He has been a special-teams player throughout the majority of his career and will likely fill a similar role for the Ravens.

Hummel (hip) was spotted participating at the Rams' minicamp Tuesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
The Iowa State product missed the final 10 games of the 2022 season due to a hip injury but has since had the offseason to move past the issue. During his rookie campaign, Hummel appeared in seven games and tallied four total tackles. Expect the second-year linebacker to compete for a depth spot in the Los Angeles defense corps ahead of the coming season.
