Falcons' Devonnsha Maxwell: Finds work in Atlanta
The Falcons signed Maxwell on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Maxwell is coming off a productive season with the DC Defenders of the UFL in 2026, posting 23 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, across 10 regular-season games. Now in Atlanta, he's expected to compete for a reserve interior defensive lineman role.

Bengals' Devonnsha Maxwell: Comes off PUP list
Maxwell (knee) passed a physical and was activated from the active/PUP list Monday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Maxwell missed all of last season due to a knee injury and continued to recover through the beginning of training camp. He appears to be past the knee issue and will now be able to both practice and participate in preseason contests. Maxwell is a long shot to make the Bengals' 53-man roster but could offer organizational depth as a member of the team's practice squad.

Bengals' Devonnsha Maxwell: Lands on PUP list
Cincinnati placed Maxwell on the active/PUP list Saturday.
After signing with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent prior to last season, Maxwell ended up spending the entire campaign on IR due to a knee injury. He participated in the team's minicamp earlier this summer but appears to still be recovering. Maxwell can be activated off the PUP list at any time this preseason, at which point he can participate in practice and exhibition games.

Bengals' Devonnsha Maxwell: Back on practice field
Maxwell (knee) is participating in the Bengals' mandatory minicamp, Albert Cesare of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Maxwell, who went undrafted back in 2023, spent his entire rookie season on IR due to a knee injury. Now healthy, the defensive tackle out of Chattanooga will have a chance to compete for a deep depth role on Cincinnati's roster.

Bengals' Devonnsha Maxwell: Lands on IR
Maxwell (knee) was placed on injured reserve by the Bengals on Monday.
Maxwell joined the Bengals in May as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Tennessee at Chatanooga. He will now miss the entirety of the 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.
