  • Carter Warren: Waived/injured by Dolphins

Miami waived Warren (undisclosed) with an injury designation Monday. Warren played in 14 games, including six starts, with the Jets from 2023 to 2024, though he hasn't seen action in an NFL game since. The 27-year-old signed a contract with the Dolphins in January but has been dealing with an undisclosed injury. If he clears waivers, Warren will revert to IR and be forced to miss the entire 2026 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with Miami.

  • Jets' Carter Warren: Considered full participant

Warren (hip) was considered a full participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Warren has missed the Jets' last two games with a hip injury and he was unable to practice at all last week, so Wednesday's estimated report is a step in the right direction. The offensive lineman will look to take the field when the team has its first official practice session Thursday ahead of the Week 16 matchup with Washington.

  • Jets' Carter Warren: Officially out

Warren (hip) is inactive Sunday against the Dolphins. Warren came into the day doubtful after not being able to practice all week, so his inability to suit up for Week 15 shouldn't come as a surprise. Billy Turner or Duane Brown will likely start in his place at right tackle.

  • Jets' Carter Warren: Unlikely to play versus Miami

Warren (hip) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Warren was a DNP for all three practices this week, and his status for Sunday's game is in doubt. Duane Brown or Billy Turner are candidates to start at right tackle if Warren is unable to suit up.

The Jets activated Warren (undisclosed) from injured reserve Saturday. Warren was placed on IR in late August while dealing with an undisclosed injury. He was designated to return Oct. 4 and will now have his first chance to suit up Sunday against the Eagles and provide depth at offensive tackle.

  • Jets' Carter Warren: Designated to return

Warren (undisclosed) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday. Warren can now return to practice, and the Jets will have 21 days to officially activate him. Once activated, the rookie fourth-rounder should add value as a depth player on the offensive line.

  • Jets' Carter Warren: Headed to IR

The Jets placed Warren (undisclosed) on their injured reserve Wednesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports. Carter logged 43 snaps in the Hall of Fame game against the Browns on Aug. 3 before going down with an injury. The 2023 fourth-round pick out of Pittsburgh will now miss at least the first four games of the season.

  • Jets' Carter Warren: Tackle lands in Big Apple

The Jets selected Warren in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 120th overall. A four-year starter at Pittsburgh, Warren has the prototypical frame of an offensive tackle (6-foot-5, long arms), but he seemed to play too rigid at times and drew 11 penalties over the final 15 games of his collegiate career. The offensive tackle tore his meniscus back in September and missed the majority of the testing process, but he figures to be healthy come the start of training camp.
