Browns' Wyatt Davis: Heading to Cleveland
Davis (ankle) signed a contract with the Browns on Friday.
Davis spent the entire 2023 season on the Giants' injured reserve due to an ankle injury. His addition to Cleveland's roster indicates his health is back up to par. He is expected to compete for a depth offensive lineman role in the upcoming season.

Davis (ankle) reverted to injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Davis injured his ankle in Saturday's preseason game against the Jets and was waived with an injury designation Monday. His move to IR will end his 2023 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.

Davis (ankle) was waived by the Giants with an injury designation Monday.
Davis suffered the injury in Saturday's preseason game against the Jets and needed to be carted off the field. Assuming he clears waivers, the 2021 third-round selection will then revert to IR. Depending on the severity of the injury, he could ultimately return this season if he's able to reach an injury settlement with the team.

Giants' Wyatt Davis: Will not return
Davis was carted off the field with a lower right leg injury during Saturday's preseason game against the Jets, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Davis left the field with an aircast on his lower right leg and has officially been ruled out of Saturday's game, per Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site. The 24-year-old has spent time with Minnesota, Arizona, New Orleans and New York throughout his two-year NFL career. He's been competing for a depth role in the Giants' offensive line room ahead of the coming season. There is no word on how significant Davis' injury is at the moment.

Giants' Wyatt Davis: Stays with Giants
The Giants re-signed Davis on Monday, Matt Citak of the team's official site reports.
Davis was a third-round pick by the Vikings in 2021 but never developed in Minnesota. He appeared in one game each for the Cardinals, Saints and Giants last season and was an exclusive rights free agent. Davis will compete for a depth role in camp this summer.
