  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Perfect in Week 6

Borregales converted on his lone field-goal try and both of his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 25-19 win over the Saints. The rookie kicker from Miami has now made made eight of nine field-goal attempts and 14 of 16 extra-point tries through his first six NFL games. Borregales hasn't missed a kick since New England's Week 2 win over the Dolphins, and he'll look to remain perfect in the Week 7 matchup against the Titans.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Drills game winner in Buffalo

Borregales went 3-for-3 on field-goal tries, including a 52-yard game winner in the final minute, and 2-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Bills. The kicker hit the decisive field goal right down the middle with more than enough distance to spare. He also made a 30-yarder and a 19-yarder in the first half, both of which proved decisive as well. The sixth-round draft pick missed a field goal in Week 1 and two extra points in Week 2, but he has been perfect since.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: Hits six extra points

Borregales made all six extra-point attempts in Sunday's 42-13 win over the Panthers. The kicker did not attempt a field goal in the win. Borregales has now hit all eight extra-point tries the last two weeks since missing two in New England's Week 2 win over the Dolphins. The sixth-round pick in the 2025 draft is also four of five on field-goal tries this season.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: No FGAs in Loss

Borregales did not attempt a field goal and made both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Steelers. Borregales wasn't particularly busy in Week 3 as the Patriots squandered many scoring opportunities, turning the ball over five times in the loss. The kicker will look to be more active in the team's matchup with the Panthers in Week 4 . Through three games in his rookie campaign, Borregales has gone 4-for-5 on field-goal attempts and 4-for-6 on PATs.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: Overcomes early blunders

Borregales went 1-for-3 on extra-point attempts but made both of his field-goal tries during the Patriots' 33-27 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. Borregales got off to a dreadful start by missing his first two extra-point tries. However the rookie sixth-rounder was able to rebound with a 22-yard chip shot before connecting on a 53-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots a six-point lead. Borregales has missed three kicks to start the season and will look for more consistent results in Week 3 against the Steelers on Sunday.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: Misses one FG in loss

Borregales went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts and made his lone extra-point try in the Patriots' 20-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Borregales beat out John Parker Romo for the Patriots' kicking job over the summer. He pushed a 40-yard attempt wide to the right on his first field-goal try in the second quarter Sunday but came back to make his next two, converting from 35 and 44 yards. Borregales was selected in the sixth round of the 2025 Draft out of Miami.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: Wins kicking competition

The Patriots are releasing John Parker Romo, leaving Borregales as the lone kicker on their roster, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports. Drafted in the sixth round this spring, Borregales made three of five field-goal attempts and all six of his PATs this preseason, with misses coming from 57 and 49 yards out. He was the starting kicker the past four seasons at the University of Miami, where he converted 74 of 86 field-goal attempts (86.0 percent) and 183 of 184 PATs. Borregales could be useful as a streamer this season, but he'll rightfully go undrafted in most fantasy leagues, as there are plenty of other kickers who have more experience and/or play for teams that are projected to be more productive than the Patriots.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: First kicker goes to Patriots

The Patriots selected Borregales in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 182nd overall. Borregales is the first kicker taken in this draft, and he's the second kicker that the Patriots have drafted in three seasons, as they previously selected Chad Ryland -- who is now with the Cardinals -- in 2023. Borregales, a four-year starter, was automatic at Miami as a senior, hitting 18 of 19 field goals, including seven of eight tries from beyond 40 yards. His longest field goal was 56 yards. Borregales will compete with John Parker Romo -- who connected on 11 of 12 field-goal tries last season -- for the starting gig in New England.
