  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Maintains top job in backfield

Henderson carried the ball 18 times for 66 yards and caught three of four targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Bengals. Rhamondre Stevenson returned from a three-game absence due to a toe injury, but that didn't have a big impact on Henderson's workload, as his 18 carries were just one short of his volume from the week before. Stevenson was also largely ineffective on his limited touches, gaining just five rushing yards on six totes and getting stuffed on two carries from Cincinnati's one-yard line in the third quarter. Henderson appears to have the No. 1 job in the backfield firmly in hand, racking up 405 rushing yards and four TDs with 5.4 yards per carry over the last five games while chipping in a 13-81-1 line on 16 targets. Henderson gets a very juicy matchup in Week 13 against a Giants defense that just got torched for 264 scrimmage yards and three total TDs by the Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: RBs to Start

Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) has missed the past two games for the Patriots, and Henderson has looked awesome in his place. He had 14 carries for 55 yards and four catches for 32 yards on six targets in Week 9 against Atlanta, and he scored 12.7 PPR points. Then came the breakout performance at Tampa Bay in Week 10 with 14 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns and one catch for 3 yards on one target. He could have the chance for another dominant outing against the Jets, who have allowed seven running backs to score at least 13.9 PPR points this season. I like Henderson as a No. 1 Fantasy running back in all leagues in Week 11.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Three total TDs in win

Henderson rushed 19 times for 62 yards and two touchdowns and secured all five targets for 31 yards and another score in the Patriots' 27-14 win over the Jets on Thursday night. The rookie came in with a golden opportunity to follow up his career-best 147-yard rushing day in Week 10 against the Buccaneers, as Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) remained out and Terrell Jennings was dealing with a knee issue. Henderson ended up cashing in, putting together his first three-TD game as a pro via a pair of seven-yard second-quarter scoring runs and a six-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter. He also comfortably paced the Patriots' ground attack with a career-high carry total, and he'll be set up for what should be an elevated Week 12 role -- irrespective of Stevenson's availability -- against a very vulnerable Bengals defense on Sunday, Nov. 23.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Cleared to play, set for key role

Henderson (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jets, while Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) is ruled out and Terrell Jennings (knee) is listed as questionable. Jennings actually took four carries before Henderson got his first touch in Sunday's 28-23 win over Tampa Bay, but Henderson rarely left the field after Jennings' early departure and eventually had two TD runs of more than 50 yards. It all sets up nicely for Henderson on Thursday, with potential to put up a strong fantasy score in a favorable matchup even if Jennings ends up playing and takes some of the power-rushing work.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Breaks off two long runs in win

Henderson rushed 14 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns while also bringing in his sole target for three yards in the Patriots' 28-23 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. Henderson's career-best rushing yardage total was largely the result of 55- and 69-yard touchdown runs in the second half, plays on which the rookie's signature speed was on full display. Henderson filled the clear lead-back role in the road victory, as backfield mate Terrell Jennings exited the contest with a knee injury. Given his performance Sunday and the short turnaround for a Week 11 Thursday night matchup against the Jets, it appears Henderson will continue enjoying virtually full control of the backfield for that divisional contest.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: On track to lead backfield Sunday

With Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) having been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Henderson once again is in line to see added backfield work this weekend. In Stevenson's absence in the Patriots' 24-23 win over the Falcons in Week 9, Henderson started and recorded a 75 percent snap share en route to carrying 14 times for 55 yards and catching four of his six targets for 32 yards, while Terrell Jennings was on the field for 25 percent of New England's snaps on offense, rushing 11 times for 35 yards and a TD and hauling in his only target for nine yards. Against Tampa Bay, look for the timeshare to continue to lean in Henderson's favor, a context that gives him Week 10 fantasy lineup viability. Meanwhile, Jennings offers an option for those in deeper formats who are scrambling for RB help this week.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: RBs to Start

Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) missed Week 9 against Atlanta, and Henderson stepped up with 14 carries for 55 yards and four catches for 32 yards on six targets. It was the most touches he had in a game this season, and his 12.7 PPR points were a season high as well. Stevenson missed practice Wednesday, so Henderson could get the chance for another quality stat line, and he's worth using as a No. 2 running back in all leagues. It's tough to run on Tampa Bay, but the Buccaneers are No. 6 in most receptions allowed to running backs. Five running backs have scored at least 7.1 PPR points against Tampa Bay with just their receiving totals alone, and Henderson should once again be a weapon for Drake Maye in the passing game. Terrell Jennings, who ran for a touchdown last week for the Patriots, is also in play as a flex.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Gets 18 touches as lead back

Henderson rushed 14 times for 55 yards and caught four of six targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 24-23 win over the Falcons. Henderson set a new career high in carries as the Patriots played without Rhamondre Stevenson (toe), and the rookie second-round pick's 55 rushing yards marked the second-highest total of Henderson's career behind his 75 against the Browns in Week 8. Terrell Jennings played a complementary role alongside Henderson, rushing 11 times for 35 yards and a touchdown. Henderson's production has been trending up, but he'll remain part of a platoon in Week 10 against the Buccaneers, whether he's splitting carries with Stevenson or Jennings.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Added work in store Sunday

With Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Henderson is in line to serve as the Patriots' lead back this weekend, per Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site. Henderson broke out for a career-high 75 yards on 10 carries in last week's win over the Browns, a game in which Stevenson logged 14 carries and a catch on two targets. In Stevenson's absence, Henderson is poised to see an uptick in touches versus Atlanta, a context that provides a boost to the 2025 second-rounder's fantasy lineup appeal Week 9. For now, Terrell Jennings is the only other healthy running back on New England's active roster, but D'Ernest Johnson, Jonathan Ward and Rushawn Baker are candidates to be elevated from the team's practice squad.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Sleeper RBs

There's a chance for Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson to both perform well in Week 7 against the Titans, who are No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and I'd love for Henderson to get an extended look in this matchup. For the season, 10 running backs have scored at least 8.1 PPR points against Tennessee, and Henderson and Stevenson would be flex options if they reached that total. Unfortunately, Henderson and Stevenson have only scored 8.1 PPR points or more just twice this season, but this could be their time to shine. I would start Stevenson over Henderson if given the choice, but I'm hopeful for Henderson to start his breakout campaign in this game.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Finds little running room in Week 6

Henderson carried the ball nine times for 27 yards and caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 25-19 win over the Saints. The results were meager, but Henderson still out-gained Rhamondre Stevenson by 18 scrimmage yards, although he finished one rushing yard behind quarterback Drake Maye for the team lead. Henderson has yet to reach even 40 rushing yards or 60 scrimmage yards in a game this season, and the rookie will likely remain stuck in a timeshare with Stevenson heading into a Week 7 clash with the Titans.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Scores first career rushing TD

Henderson rushed seven times for 32 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for 14 yards in the Patriots' 42-13 win over the Panthers on Sunday. He also returned one kickoff for 20 yards. The rookie second-round pick saw two fewer carries than Rhamondre Stevenson despite the latter's Week 3 fumbling issues, but Henderson still turned in a serviceable fantasy performance thanks to his first NFL touchdown. Henderson got into the end zone from five yards out with just under six minutes left in the second quarter, and his rushing yardage tally represented a new career high. He's hauled in multiple receptions in each of his first four games, but he appears stuck in a three-way backfield committee with Stevenson and Antonio Gibson heading into a Week 5 road matchup against the Bills next Sunday night.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Sleeper RBs

Rhamondre Stevenson (two) and Antonio Gibson combined for three fumbles in Week 3 against Pittsburgh, which has to help Henderson get more playing time. He finished the Steelers game with 11 carries for 28 yards and three catches for 19 yards on three targets, and the 14 total touches are a season high. I'll take a chance on Henderson as a high-end flex in Week 4 against the Panthers, who have already allowed three running backs to score at least 12.2 PPR points this season. And Trey Benson and Bijan Robinson combined for nine catches for 69 yards on 12 targets against Carolina in the past two weeks, which should bode well for Henderson's role in the passing game.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Logs 11 carries Sunday

Henderson carried the ball 11 times for 28 yards and caught all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Steelers. The rookie RB struggled on the ground once again, failing to reached 30 rushing yards for the third straight game to begin his NFL career. His 14 touches were his highest volume so far, however, and the increase came largely due to the fact that his competition for backfield work, Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson, combined to lose three fumbles. That could put Henderson at the top of the depth chart Week 4 against a Panthers defense that remains fairly vulnerable on the ground and just gave up 111 yards from scrimmage to Bijan Robinson.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: RBs to Start

Henderson got engaged to his fiancé on Tuesday night, and hopefully, he'll put on a show Sunday at Miami. I like him as a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues for his matchup with the Dolphins. Mike Vrabel said about Henderson after the loss to the Raiders in Week 1 when the rookie had five carries for 27 yards and six catches for 24 yards on six targets that "We gotta use that as a weapon ... (He's) gonna keep working, and he'll be a big part of what we do." I hope that means more touches, and the Dolphins just allowed Jonathan Taylor and D.J. Giddens to combine for 30 carries for 122 yards and three catches for 27 yards in Week 1. This could be Henderson's breakout game in the NFL in this outing.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Kicks off career with return TD

Henderson rushed once for 18 yards and caught all three of his targets for 12 yards in Friday's 48-18 preseason win over the Commanders. He also scored a 100-yard kickoff-return touchdown. Henderson made an instant impact in his NFL debut, taking the opening kickoff back for a 100-yard touchdown. He also split snaps with Rhamondre Stevenson for the next two drives while the first-team offense was in the game. Henderson's pass-catching skills and ability to make defenders miss in space should help the rookie second-round pick play a prominent role on offense out of the gate as the speedy complement to Stevenson's bruising running style. Henderson will look to build on this strong first impression when the Patriots travel to Minnesota on Aug. 16 for their next preseason game.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Pass-catching skills on display

Since the start of training camp, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has lined Henderson up in various formations in an effort to take advantage of mismatches, Karen Guregian of MassLive Sports reports. McDaniels believes the explosive 2025 second-rounder -- who has caught screen passes, swing passes and wheel routes downfield during practice -- has a chance be a valuable weapon in the passing game this season. Henderson has fifth-year pro Rhamondre Stevenson to contend with for backfield touches, particularly in early-down situations, but the rookie has enough playmaking upside to make a fantasy impact even in the context of a timeshare, with Antonio Gibson also mixing in.
