The Steelers signed Bussey to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official website reports.
The wide receiver was cut from the Steelers' practice squad Jan. 7, but will now return to the team for 2022 season. Bussey missed a significant portion of the 2021 campaign while on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury and ultimately failed to crack the active roster for the year's conclusion.

Bussey went undrafted out of Hawaii and signed with the Steelers as a free agent in May. After not making the 53-man roster, Bussey joined the practice squad and ultimately missed a significant portion of the season due to an undisclosed injury that put him on IR.
