Bussey spent the majority of last season on the Steelers' practice squad injured list with an undisclosed injury, then signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January. In a corresponding move, the Steelers signed undrafted free agent Tyler Snead.

Steelers' Rico Bussey: Signs new contract with Steelers
The Steelers signed Bussey to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official website reports.
The wide receiver was cut from the Steelers' practice squad Jan. 7, but will now return to the team for 2022 season. Bussey missed a significant portion of the 2021 campaign while on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury and ultimately failed to crack the active roster for the year's conclusion.

Bussey was cut from the Steelers' practice squad Friday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Bussey went undrafted out of Hawaii and signed with the Steelers as a free agent in May. After not making the 53-man roster, Bussey joined the practice squad and ultimately missed a significant portion of the season due to an undisclosed injury that put him on IR.
