Report: Jaxson Dart 'Exceptionally Accurate' in Dolphins Joint Practice

Fantasy News

  • Dolphins' Porter Gustin: Signs with Dolphins on Wednesday

Gustin signed a contract with Miami on Wednesday. Gustin will join the Dolphins after spending the first three seasons of his career with Cleveland, registering 52 tackles over 25 games. The 25-year-old joins Miami after the team waived fellow defensive end Daeshon Hall in a corresponding move Wednesday.

  • Browns' Porter Gustin: Back at practice

Gustin (knee) returned to practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Gustin injured his knee at last Friday's practice and subsequently sat out the Browns' second preseason game. His return to practice after less than a week on the sideline indicates the issue was never too serious. Barring any setbacks, he still projects to help provide depth at defensive end for Cleveland when the season kicks off.

  • Browns' Porter Gustin: Sustains knee injury

Gustin injured his knee at Friday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Gustin was not on the field for pregame warm-ups Sunday after leaving Friday's practice with a knee injury. The extent of his injury is unknown. Cameron Malveaux and Joe Jackson will likely see increased workloads during the remainder of the preseason.

  • Browns' Porter Gustin: Shifts to COVID list

Gustin was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, per the NFL's official transaction log. With just two days separating him from a matchup against the Jaguars, Gustin's transition to the inactive list sheds doubt on his Week 12 status. Having either tested positive for COVID-19 or coming in close contact with someone who has, Gustin will be out at least five days given this recent development. That is, of course, unless the positive COVID test is overturned by multiple subsequent negative results. Gustin logged his third start of 2020 Week 11 against the Eagles, collecting three tackles and a QB hit.

  • Browns' Porter Gustin: Joins active roster

The Browns promoted Gustin to the active roster from the practice squad Friday. Gustin has spent the last two weeks on Cleveland's practice squad. The undrafted rookie out of Southern California will now look to make the most of his opportunity on the active roster. He projects to play a depth role on the defensive line and could contribute on special teams.
