Gabe Ikard: Placed on retired list
Ikard was placed on the retired list Thursday, Joel A. Erickson of The Baton Rouge Advocate reports.
Ikard was waived by the Browns late last August after being sidelined for most of the 2017 training camp with a concussion. He likely could've have gotten a chance in training camp with an NFL club but has decided to step away from the game.

Gabe Ikard: Let go by Cleveland
Ikard (concussion) was waived by the Browns on Monday, Mary Kat Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
The offensive lineman has been sidelined for most of training camp with the concussion, which undermined his chances of winning a roster spot. Once his concussion symptoms subside, Ikard could look to sign with the Browns or another organization.

Ikard (concussion) missed his third consecutive practice Sunday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Ikard has been with Cleveland on and off for the last two seasons but has failed to see any game action as a member of the Browns. The 26-year-old center is considered a long shot to make the roster.
