Player Outlook
Hollins will enter his age-32 season with his fifth team in five seasons: the New England Patriots. While the Patriots lack a proven stud at wide receiver (unless Stefon Diggs regains his old form coming off a torn ACL), it's unlikely that Hollins will be a reliable Fantasy option. He should not be drafted outside of very deep leagues.

  • Patriots' Mack Hollins: Mixes in with first team

Since returning from the PUP list, Hollins has logged some first-team reps, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports. That said, Lazar notes that the Stefon Diggs/DeMario Douglas/Kayshon Boutte trio has been seeing a lot of reps of late, with Kyle Williams mixing in along with Hollins. At this stage, Diggs -- assuming his health -- and Douglas appear to be locked into key roles in a crowded Patriots wide receiver corps that also includes Kendrick Bourne, Ja'Lynn Polk and Javon Baker, with the competition for slotting beyond the aforementioned duo still wide open.

  • Patriots' Mack Hollins: Works with starters in return

In his first practice since being activated from the PUP list, Hollins worked with the starters during Thursday's walk-through session, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports. Reiss notes that on Hollins' first snap Thursday, he lined up opposite Stefon Diggs, with DeMario Douglas in the slot. In his absence, it had been mostly Kayshon Boutte (who also saw some some work with the starters Thursday) working alongside Diggs and Douglas, but now that he's back in the mix, Hollins will look to secure the No. 3 role in a crowded Patriots WR corps that also includes Kyle Williams, Kendrick Bourne and Ja'Lynn Polk.

  • Patriots' Mack Hollins: Back at practice

Hollins (undisclosed), who had been on the active/PUP list, is participating in practice Thursday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports. Hollins is present for the start of Thursday's walk-through practice, confirmation that he's coming off the PUP list. The veteran wideout secured 31 of 50 targets for 378 yards and a career-high five touchdowns while playing all 17 regular-season games with Buffalo in 2024, and he's now competing for standing behind Stefon Diggs (ACL) with all of DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Kendrick Bourne and Kyle Williams after having inked a two-year deal with the Patriots this offseason.

  • Patriots' Mack Hollins: Lands on PUP list

The Patriots placed Hollins (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Saturday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports. It's not clear what type of injury Hollins is dealing with, but he won't be practicing to begin camp. However, he's eligible to come off the PUP list and begin practicing as soon as he's medically cleared. Hollins signed a two-year deal with New England in March and is expected to compete for targets with the likes of DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte and Kendrick Bourne, when healthy.

  • Patriots' Mack Hollins: Joining forces with Pats

Hollins is slated to signed a two-year, $8.4 million contract with the Patriots, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Hollins thus will reunite with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, under whom the wide receiver had a career-best campaign in 2022 in Las Vegas with a 57-690-4 line on 94 targets in 17 regular-season games. He combined for 49-629-5 on 80 targets in 30 contests between the Falcons (2023) and Bills (2024) over the last two years. In a receiving corps with all of DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte and Kendrick Bourne under contract and more reinforcements possible this offseason, it's unclear what kind of role Hollins can expect in a Drake Maye-led offense.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Strong AFCCG outing not enough

Hollins caught three of four targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-29 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. Hollins was Buffalo's leading receiver in the season-ending loss. He caught a 34-yard touchdown pass in the final minute of the first half and set up Curtis Samuel's game-tying touchdown catch in the fourth quarter with a 32-yard reception down to the 4-yard line. Hollins surprisingly led the Bills with five touchdown catches in the regular season while playing on a one-year, $2.6 million contract, so Buffalo could have some interest in bringing the 31-year-old wide receiver back in free agency.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Three grabs against New England

Hollins caught three of four targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots. Hollins played all but one of the Bills' 67 offensive snaps Sunday, his highest snap percentage of the season. With Buffalo having clinched the No. 2 seed in the AFC, the Bills elected to rest many of their key players, opening the door to extended playing time for the veteran wideout. Despite seeing a major uptick in usage and leading all wide receivers in playing time, Hollins' minimal production was disappointing. Nonetheless, the 31-year-old will revert back to his depth role when Bills host the Broncos in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Quiet day in Week 15

Hollins caught one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 48-42 win over the Lions. After scoring touchdowns in two straight games, Hollins was essentially a non-factor Sunday against the Lions. The wideout played 50 percent of the Bills' offensive snaps, but he was unable to do much with the three targets he saw come his way. In the four games rookie Keon Coleman missed with a wrist injury, the 31-year-old Hollins averaged roughly a 72 percent offensive snap share. With the return of Coleman to the lineup, the veteran's snap share took a hit, which will likely continue to be the case going forward. Hollins should remain off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 16 matchup against the Patriots.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Scores touchdown against 49ers

Hollins caught his lone target for seven yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-10 win over the 49ers. Hollins' trip to the end zone Sunday was his fourth score of the 2024 season. The veteran wideout played the most offensive snaps (38) of any Buffalo wide receiver in the contest, ahead of Khalil Shakir (29), Amari Cooper (27), Curtis Samuel (22) and Jalen Virgil (15). Despite seeing the most playing time, Hollins was not a major part of the game plan throughout the contest. The 31-year-old remains difficult to trust for consistent fantasy production as the Bills head to Los Angeles to face the Rams in Week 14.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

The Bills are hurting at receiver with Amari Cooper (wrist) and Keon Coleman (wrist) banged up, and Dalton Kincaid (knee) is also hurt. That helped Hollins in Week 10 at Indianapolis when he had four catches for 86 yards on four targets. But he also had five catches for 30 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 9 against Miami, and Hollins could be a sneaky No. 3 receiver in Week 11 against the Chiefs. He's worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Clear for Week 10

Hollins (shoulder) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Indianapolis. Hollins has been managing a shoulder injury for the past five weeks, but he's suited up on the previous four occasions en route to a 6-38-2 line on eight targets during that stretch. The Bills ruled out Keon Coleman (wrist) for Week 10, and Amari Cooper (wrist) is listed as questionable, leaving Khalil Shakir, Hollins and Curtis Samuel (pectoral) as the healthy wide receivers on the Bills' active roster.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Limited Thursday

Hollins (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Hollins has been dealing with the shoulder issue for a couple weeks, and he may have taken a step back in terms of his recovery from the injury after he had been listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice report. The veteran wideout's participation in Friday's status (or lack thereof) will be more telling for his availability for Sunday's game against the Colts.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Not targeted against Seattle

Hollins failed to see a single target in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Seahawks. Hollins was held without a catch for the second-straight week and third time this season. The veteran wideout played 35 of the Bills 76 offensive snaps, behind Keon Coleman (63), Khalil Shakir (44) and Amari Cooper (38). With Cooper's arrival, Hollins will likely continue to see his number called less and less, as the former should command a significant amount of targets once he is fully acclimated. The 31-year-old Hollins should remain off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 9 matchup against the Dolphins.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Held catchless in Week 7

Hollins failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans. Hollins was held without a catch for just the second time all season, yet the veteran wideout led all Buffalo wide receivers in offensive snaps (41). The arrival of new acquisition Amari Cooper, who saw five targets while playing just 19 snaps, certainly contributed to Hollins' decreased usage in the passing game. Going forward, Hollins will likely continue to see his role decrease as the Buffalo's No. 4 wideout. The 31-year-old will be hard to trust for fantasy purposes when the Bills visit the Seahawks in Week 8.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Cleared to face Titans

Hollins (shoulder) doesn't have an injry designation for Sunday's game against the Titans. Hollins upgraded to full practice participation Friday following a pair of limited sessions, so he'll be available for Sunday's home game . Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman will likely continue to slot in ahead of Hollins in the pass-catching pecking order among Buffalo's wide receivers, but it remains to be seen if Amari Cooper will make his Bills debut Sunday after being acquired from the Browns in a trade Tuesday.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Limited in Friday's walkthrough

Hollins (shoulder) remained limited at practice Friday. The Bills held a walkthrough Friday, so there were no changes in participation status from Thursday's practice. Hollins and Curtis Samuel (toe) have both been limited while Khalil Shakir (ankle) has yet to practice after sitting out the Week 5 loss to the Texans. Buffalo will practice again Saturday before publishing its final injury report for Monday's game against the Jets.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Logs limited practice

Hollins (shoulder) was limited at practice Thursday. Meanwhile, Khalil Shakir (ankle) didn't practice, while Curtis Samuel (toe) was limited Thursday, signaling that the trio's status will need to be monitored ahead of Monday night's game against the Jets. Hollins likely will need to progress to a full session by Saturday in order the avoid a Week 6 injury designation.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Another six-target game

Hollins caught two of six targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Texans. Hollins played a larger role in the absence of Khalil Shakir (ankle) and tied Dalton Kincaid for the team lead in targets. The increased attention from Josh Allen didn't translate to meaningful fantasy production for Hollins, and he'll be tough to trust in Week 6 against the stout Jets secondary, even if Shakir remains sidelined.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Targeted six times

Hollins caught one of six targets for five yards in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens. Despite seeing a season-high six targets in the contest, Hollins struggled to connect with quarterback Josh Allen and was unable to produce much for fantasy purposes. The eighth-year wideout played 36 of the Bills' 59 offensive snaps Sunday, the second-most of any Buffalo receiver. Hollins' minimal involvement in Buffalo's offensive scheme make him a difficult bet for fantasy purposes. The 31-year-old will look to get more involved in Week 5 when the Bills visit the Texans.

  • Bills' Mack Hollins: One grab in win

Hollins secured one of his two targets for 16 yards in Monday's 47-10 win over the Jaguars. Hollins continued to see limited opportunities Monday, as the veteran wideout has now caught just three passes on five targets for 41 yards through three games. The 31-year-old has not been a priority option in the passing game despite playing at least 60 percent of the offensive snaps in every contest, as the Bills seem to value him mainly as a blocker and downfield decoy that diverts attention from other pass catchers.
