Lenny Jones: Waived with injury settlement
The Browns waived Jones (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Thursday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.
It is unknown what exactly Jones' injury is, but he has had a history of injuries -- dating most recently to his appearance on injured reserve in the 2018 season. It's also unclear what's next for Jones' NFL career, but more should become clear as the offseason rolls on and he has time to recover.

Browns' Lenny Jones: Reverts to IR
Jones (undisclosed) cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve, according to the league's official transaction log.
It isn't clear when or how Jones got injured, but the defensive end is nonetheless planted on IR through the end of the league year unless he agrees to an injury settlement.

Jones (foot) was an active participant at Wednesday's practice, Bryan Broaddus of the Cowboys' official website reports.
Jones was sidelined with a foot injury last week but appears to have made a full recovery. He is competing to earn a spot on the final roster as a depth defensive end, so his return to practice will be beneficial for those chances, albeit slim.

Jones (foot) did not practice Thursday, Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Jones has been with four teams since going undrafted in 2016 and signed a reserve/future contract with Dallas in January. The 25-year-old is fighting for a roster spot on the Cowboys' defensive line.
