Titans' John Simon: Signed by Tennessee
Simon was signed to the Titans' active roster Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
The 31-year-old was cut by the Titans on Nov. 6 but will now return to the team. In one game for the team this season, he made three tackles while playing 19 snaps on defense. With David Long (hamstring) and Rashaan Evans (ankle) both questionable for Week 12 against the Patriots, Simon may be asked to step right into a substantial role this weekend.

Patriots' John Simon: Sustains hamstring injury
Simon (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against Miami.
The 30-year-old has not established himself as a dominant edge presence by any means, posting four QB hits and two sacks thus far in 2020. What Simon has provided is consistent availability, as he's started 25 times for New England without posting a game absence since the start of 2019. Former Raider Shilique Calhoun is the presumed next man up at outside linebacker for as long as Simon is unable to return.
