Cordy Glenn: Cut by Bengals, as expected
The Bengals released Glenn on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Cincinnati attempted to drum up trade interest for Glenn earlier this month, but the team has now opted to release him in order to save $9.5 million against the salary cap. After missing the first 11 games of the 2019 campaign due to a concussion, Glenn is now back to full health and will test his market as a free agent.

Bengals' Cordy Glenn: Will be traded or cut
The Bengals are seeking trade partners for Glenn, and they will cut him if they can't find a deal, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
The Bengals would save $9.5 million against the salary cap by cutting Glenn, but they're first searching for some additional compensation in form of a trade. Glenn missed the first 11 games of 2019 with a concussion, and he was suspended for a game as well. However, he started five of the last six games, and he could add depth to an offensive front in 2020.

Bengals' Cordy Glenn: Set for season debut
Coach Zac Taylor said Friday that Glenn will start at left tackle against the Steelers on Sunday, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
Glenn has cleared the league's concussion protocol and resumed participating in full-contact practices, putting him on track to make his 2019 debut against the Steelers on Sunday. Left tackle has been an area of weakness for Cincinnati's offense, so Glenn's presence could provide a much-needed boost against Pittsburgh's stout defense.

Bengals' Cordy Glenn: Appears healthy going forward
Glenn (concussion) took scout-team reps during Wednesday's practice, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
Since he's taking contact, it looks like Glenn has cleared the league's concussion protocol after missing this past Sunday's loss to the Ravens. He has been suspended and been a healthy scratch this year, and participating on scout team means he may not start Week 11 against the Raiders. Either Andre Smith or Fred Anderson is likely to fill the void.

Bengals' Cordy Glenn: Won't play versus Rams
Glenn (coach's decision) won't suit up against the Rams on Sunday, Tyler Dragon of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Glenn appears on the Bengals' injury report with a concussion and was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's session, per Jay Morrison of The Athletic. Even so, it's not believed that Glenn is dealing with any health concerns, as he cleared the protocol Oct. 16, only to receive a one-game suspension two days later. After sitting out the Week 7 loss to the Jaguars, Glenn was back at practice Wednesday as a full participant, but the Bengals apparently aren't ready to bring him back into the lineup Sunday. Andre Smith (ankle) will likely start at left tackle in Glenn's stead.

Glenn was initially suspended one game by the Bengals for internal issues, but it doesn't look like his long-term standing with the team will be affected. He's expected to start at left tackle for Sunday's game against the Rams.
