McCants suffered an ankle injury early in the preseason and was placed on injured reserve as a result. He'll now look for a spot on a team in need of bolstering its offensive line.

McCants (ankle) landed on the Browns' injured reserve Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of Ohio.com reports.
McCants will remain on IR for the remainder of the season unless he and the team can reach an injury settlement. The veteran projected as offensive line depth prior to the injury.
