Rookie OT Matt McCants has more experience playing tuba than he does at RT (he was a musician in high school), but the Giants gave him time there and on the blind side during OTAs. McCants said the chance to play RT has helped him out “a lot.” The Giants frequently use an extra OT as a blocking TE, which is another opportunity McCants said he’s eager to have.
