76ers' Dillon Jones: Signs camp deal with 76ers
The 76ers signed Jones to an Exhibit 10 contract Tuesday, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Jones, an NBA champion in each of his first two years in the league, appears to be heading to Philadelphia to compete for a roster spot at training camp. He most recently served as a two-way player for the defending-champion Knicks and could ultimately be re-routed to the G League's Delaware Blue Coats for 2026-27.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Could be used off ball more
Maxey could spend more time playing off the ball during the 2026-27 season, Chris Hine of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The additions of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown should reduce Maxey's responsibilities as Philadelphia's primary ball-handler, potentially allowing him to generate more catch-and-shoot opportunities. Maxey converted 41.7 percent of his 3.4 catch-and-shoot three-point attempts per game during the 2025-26 regular season compared to just 33.5 percent on 5.2 pull-up attempts, so a change in shot profile could lead to improved efficiency from beyond the arc.

76ers' Dean Wade: Ready to make defensive impact
Wade said recently he wants to play hard, bring energy and make a difference on the defensive side of the ball for the 76ers in the 2026-27 campaign, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
"My focus during the year will be playing hard and making a difference one-on-one defensively," Wade said. "My stats may not wow a lot of people, but my energy and impact in the game will." After going undrafted in 2019 and spending the first seven years of his career with Cleveland, Wade agreed to a four-year, $38.7 million pact with Philadelphia on June 30. The club traded for Jaylen Brown the next day and signed LeBron James in late July, so Wade figures to operate off the bench behind the star forwards. The 29-year-old is known for taking on challenging defensive assignments and is a career 36.7 percent shooter from three-point range. He'll likely carve out a meaningful role for the 76ers given his versatility on the defensive end, though he shouldn't be expected to stuff the stat sheet. Over 59 regular-season appearances (38 starts) with the Cavaliers in 2025-26, he averaged 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 triples, 0.7 steals and 0.4 blocks in 22.3 minutes per tilt.

Presumably, the 76ers are looking to fill out their G League roster with this camp invite. In 36 G League appearances in 2025-26, Thomas averaged 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

A G League standout from the 2025-26 season, Nelson will likely end up with Philadelphia's G League affiliate. In 14 appearances with Stockton last season, he averaged 18.1 points, 3.1 assists and 2.8 rebounds.

Bona recorded eight points (2-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 10 rebounds and three blocks in 18 minutes during Turkey's 110-73 win over Iceland in Monday's FIBA World Cup qualifier.
The 23-year-old averaged 4.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 17.4 minutes across 71 regular-season appearances for Philadelphia in 2025-26. Bona remains on the 76ers' roster entering 2026-27, but the presence of Joel Embiid and offseason addition Ariel Hukporti could make consistent playing time difficult to come by.

The 21-year-old is coming off a strong first campaign with Philadelphia and earned All-Rookie honors after establishing himself as a key piece of the team's backcourt. However, his fantasy outlook is somewhat murkier entering 2026-27 after the 76ers added LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Anfernee Simons and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope during a dramatic roster overhaul.

Edgecombe is not on the Bahamas' roster ahead of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein.
There's no injury to report, and this is likely Edgecombe's decision. Presumably, his focus is going to be on ramping up ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season, when he'll look to build on a breakout rookie season. However, he'll face added competition for usage after the 76ers added LeBron James and Jaylen Brown this offseason.
