Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Drops 33 points in Game 7 loss
Brown contributed 33 points (12-27 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks across 40 minutes in Saturday's 109-100 loss to the 76ers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Brown bounced back and provided a well-rounded performance after struggling in Thursday's Game 6 loss, though his 33-point effort was not enough to prevent the Sixers from completing a 3-1 comeback. The star swingman led the Celtics in points and rebounds while tying the game high in blocks, but he didn't deliver his most efficient shooting performance. With Jayson Tatum (knee) missing most of the regular season while recovering from a ruptured Achilles, Brown stepped up and impressed. He earned his fourth straight All-Star nod, averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 34.4 minutes per contest across 71 regular-season games.

Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Tough night in loss
Brown chipped in 18 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-6 FT), one rebound and two assists in 28 minutes during Thursday's 106-93 loss to the 76ers in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Both Brown and Jayson Tatum had below-average nights by their standards, which resulted in Boston pulling its starters off the court early in the fourth quarter to rest up for Game 7. Brown was averaging 25.8 points through the first five games of the series entering Thursday's Game 6, and he'll have an opportunity to get back on track Saturday in Game 7.

Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Pours in 20 points in Game 4 win
Brown ended with 20 points (6-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-9 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Sunday's 128-96 victory over the 76ers in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Although Brown left most of the scoring to Jayson Tatum and Payton Pritchard, the wing was once again a solid contributor. He tied Tatum with a team-high seven rebounds, but the All-Star Brown left a few points on the floor with four missed free throws, an oddity considering his 75.9 percent free-throw percentage during the series.

Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Well-rounded performance in win
Brown supplied 25 points (9-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal across 40 minutes in Friday's 108-100 Game 3 win over the 76ers in the first round of the playoffs.
The star swingman delivered an efficient all-around performance on the offensive end and tied Jayson Tatum for the team lead in points, with the pair helping the Celtics retake the series lead. Brown also tied the team-best mark in rebounds and the game high in blocks, tying his season high in swats across the regular season and playoffs. The 29-year-old and the Celtics will now prepare for Game 4 as the club aims to take a commanding 3-1 lead in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Drops 36 points in defeat
Brown contributed 36 points (11-24 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 9-12 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 38 minutes in Tuesday's 111-97 Game 2 loss to the 76ers in the first round of the playoffs.
Brown erupted for a game-high 36 points and made an impact across the stat sheet in Game 2, albeit in a losing effort. The star forward also turned in another efficient outing from beyond the arc and is shooting 7-for-14 from downtown through the first two games of this series. Brown and the Celtics will now look to retake the series lead in Friday's Game 3 in Philadelphia.

Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Productive in Game 1 victory
Brown posted 26 points (11-21 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Boston's 123-91 win over Philadelphia in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs Sunday.
It took a little while for Brown to get into the groove of things Sunday, but he exploded out of halftime with 16 points in the third quarter to help maintain the Celtics' comfortable lead. He finished as the game's leading scorer, which is notable given that he sat for the entire fourth quarter and attempted only two free throws. That extra rest at the end of Sunday's game should be beneficial for Brown and the rest of the Celtics' starters for Game 2 on Tuesday.
