Mariners' Domingo Gonzalez: Clears waivers
The Mariners outrighted Gonzalez to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.
Gonzalez will remain part of the Seattle organization, but he no longer possesses a spot on the 40-man roster after getting designated for assignment and clearing waivers. The 26-year-old righty has made five appearances out of the Mariners bullpen this season, logging a 4.70 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and 5:5 K:BB in 7.2 innings.

The Mariners designated Gonzalez for assignment Thursday.
Gonzalez was added to the Mariners' bullpen Wednesday, but he'll now lose his spot after giving up four earned runs over two innings against the Orioles. Michael Rucker was selected to the active roster in a corresponding move.

The Mariners claimed Gonzalez off waivers and optioned him to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.
