Durbin posted multiple hits in all three road games and left Seattle with seven hits over 11 at-bats. His work also included two stolen bases, two doubles, a home run and two RBI. What has been a trying first season in Boston turned over the last three weeks. Durbin is batting .319 (23-for-72) with seven doubles, one triple, four home runs, 13 RBI, three steals and 11 runs over his last 20 games.

Durbin went 2-for-4 with one RBI and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Mariners.
Durbin was the only hitter for either team to log multiple hits in the contest. He is 6-for-11 with two homers, three RBI and a double over his last three contests as he works to shake off his slump from earlier in June. On the season, the third baseman is hitting .208 with a .616 OPS, five home runs, seven steals, 29 RBI and 25 runs scored over 67 games. Other than a recent surge of offense -- he went 15-for-44 (.341) with eight extra-base hits and nine RBI over 12 games from May 28 to June 10 -- Durbin has been a non-factor at the dish. After Drew Rasmussen had blanked Boston for seven innings, Durbin sparked his team's offense to life with a long ball off Cole Sulser to lead off the eighth, following it up with another solo shot off Garrett Cleavinger in the ninth. He's still hitting ninth in the order, but Durbin seems to have regained a full-time job at third base thanks to a surge that has seen him produce an extra-base hit in five straight games while batting .350 (7-for-20) with four doubles, a triple, one run and six RBI. If the former Brewer is beginning to learn how to play wall ball off the Green Monster in his new home park, Durbin could still turn around what has been a tough start to his Red Sox tenure.

Durbin went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI in Sunday's 9-4 win over the Guaridans.
Durbin, who started just three times in a 10-game stretch from May 17 to May 27, has made an impact in four consecutive starts. He's knocked in runs in all four games while going 6-for-17 (.353) with three doubles, a triple and six RBI during that stretch. He used the recent downtime to work on hitting in the cage, per Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic. Durbin noted from his spray charts that he was cutting off half the field. "I think it's both a little bit of a mechanical adjustment as far as how I'm positioning my body to use the whole field and a little bit of approach, too," he said. His brutal season-opening slump is hard to forget with a small sample size of production, but Durbin may have turned a corner.
