  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Facing former squad Sunday

Wedgewood will defend the road crease in Sunday's clash against the Predators, per Conor McGahey of Altitude TV.

Wedgewood will look to turn the page after being handed his first regulation loss of the season in Tuesday's matchup in New Jersey. Overall, the 34-year-old netminder has a 1-1-1 record, a 2.65 GAA and a .912 save percentage across three appearances this season. While Mackenzie Blackwood has seen the majority of the opportunities between the pipes to open the season, Wedgewood has proven to be more than capable between the pipes for Colorado over the past two and a half seasons. He'll clash with the Predators on Sunday, who traded Wedgewood to Colorado early in the 2024-25 campaign. He's a strong fantasy option in all formats for Sunday's game.

  • Rangers' Spencer Martin: Set to join Wolf Pack

Martin was sent down to AHL Hartford on Sunday.

With the Rangers signing James Reimer to a one-year deal Sunday, Martin was the presumed odd-man out in the goalie room. He logged just one relief appearance prior to being sent down, where he surrendered three goals on 18 shots on net. If Reimer or Dylan Garand were to go down with an injury prior to the return of Joonas Korpisalo (lower body), Martin would be the expected replacement at the NHL level.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Beaten five times in loss

Nedeljkovic stopped 29 of 34 shots in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Bruins. Boston's sixth goal was an empty-netter.

Nedeljkovic struggled during Boston's third-period comeback, allowing three goals in less than four minutes as San Jose surrendered a 3-2 advantage. The veteran netminder finished with an .853 save percentage despite facing a substantial workload. His ability to accumulate saves offers some fantasy appeal, but inconsistent defensive support and competition for starts make him a risky option in standard formats. Nedeljkovic has a 2.89 GAA and .903 save percentage in his first five outings this season.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Makes 23 saves in victory

Swayman stopped 23 of 27 shots in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Sharks.

Swayman earned the victory despite posting a single-game save percentage of .852, marking the second straight start in which he's posted a figure below .900 in that department. He benefited from Boston's four-goal third period, and while the win helps his fantasy value, his efficiency was underwhelming. Swayman will need stronger performances to maintain favorable ratios, as he has a .908 save percentage over his last five starts.

  • Dylan Garand G | NYR

Rangers' Dylan Garand: Gives up five goals Saturday

Garand stopped 17 of 22 shots in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Senators. Ottawa's final two goals were empty-netters.

Garand endured his toughest outing of the young season, finishing with a .773 save percentage as Ottawa built an early three-goal lead. The Rangers mounted a comeback, but the young netminder couldn't prevent the Senators from extending their lead in the third period. His recent workload suggests he's receiving substantial opportunities, although performances like this highlight the volatility of his fantasy value. Garand has made seven starts in a row, but the Rangers will have a five-day break between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1, meaning the 24-year-old goaltender will get some much-needed rest sooner rather than later. It seems he'll remain as the Rangers' No. 1 goaltender for the time being -- he has a 2.65 GAA and .900 save percentage in nine appearances thus far.

  • Senators' Jonas Johansson: Earns win in Senators debut

Johansson stopped 24 of 28 shots in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Rangers. He also recorded an assist on an empty-net goal.

Johansson relied on the Senators' scoring prowess to get the win in his 2026-27 debut, as he posted a single-game save percentage of just .857 while allowing four goals. His fantasy appeal remains dependent on earning additional starts and improving his efficiency, but as of now, he profiles primarily as a depth option behind Samuel Ersson due to the absence of Linus Ullmark (lower body).

  • Cam Talbot G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Cam Talbot: Hangs on for OT win

Talbot turned aside 26 of 27 shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

Talbot came up big in multiple crucial moments Saturday, which helped him earn his first win since Oct. 9. While the Blue Jackets have struggled in the early stages of the current season, the 39-year-old backstop has given them some stable play between the pipes over his last three outings. Overall, he's up to a 2-2-0 record, a 2.82 GAA and an .891 save percentage across five outings. He should continue to see at least one outing a week with Jet Greaves' inconsistencies between the pipes, meaning Talbot has entered the spot start conversation in deep fantasy leagues.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Yields two goals in OT loss

Hart stopped 18 of 20 shots on net in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.

Despite the Golden Knights' offense leaving Hart out to dry, he also struggled in his role, allowing two goals on just 20 shots. After a strong start to the season, the 28-year-old backstop has begun to trend in the wrong direction, posting three losses in his last four outings. Overall, he now has a 4-3-1 record, a 2.76 GAA and an .889 save percentage. As long as Vegas can quickly put their three-game losing streak behind them, he will remain in the No. 2 goalie conversation in fantasy. However, fantasy managers that can roster at least three goalies should have a backup plan in place if Hart's struggles persist.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Yields four goals in loss

Hofer halted 35 of 39 shots on net in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Hurricanes.

Hofer fell to the reigning champs Saturday, but not without putting up a fight. He stopped a season-high 35 shots on net in the losing effort, proving he can dig deep when the offense leaves him out to dry. Following Saturday's loss, the 26-year-old backstop now has a 4-3-1 record, a shutout, a 2.40 GAA and a .917 save percentage across eight outings. His role as the team's lead option in the crease remains unchanged moving forward, and with a handful of more-favorable matchups on the horizon, he's a solid streaming option in fantasy. If called upon, his next opportunity to bounce back is Tuesday against the Canadiens, who are currently without Nick Suzuki and Ivan Demidov.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Blanks Blues Saturday

Kochetkov saved all 24 shots on net he saw in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Blues.

Kochetkov earned his first shutout of the 2026-27 campaign Saturday. He's been phenomenal to begin the regular season, as he's undefeated with a 7-0-0 record, a 1.70 GAA and a .916 save percentage across seven games. His hot start to the season has helped him work his way back to being the No. 1 option between the pipes over Brandon Bussi, who has struggled across his six appearances. With a projected majority of the workload likely to go Kochetkov's way, he's entered the fantasy conversation in all formats, making him an excellent waiver-wire addition in leagues where he's still available.
