  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Defending home crease Friday

Wolf will start Friday's home game against the Kraken, Pat Steinberg of QR Calgary 770 AM reports.

Wolf entered Wednesday's game against the Oilers at the start of the second period after Devin Cooley (lower body) exited the matchup. It's not yet clear whether Cooley will be available to dress as the backup for Friday's matchup, but Wolf will draw his first start since Oct. 15. Across six appearances to begin the regular season, he's gone 1-4-0 with a 4.81 GAA and .839 save percentage.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Allows four goals in overtime loss

Wallstedt stopped 22 of 26 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

Wallstedt suffered his first home defeat of the season after Matthew Schaefer beat him just 33 seconds into overtime. The young netminder entered the contest after winning his last two starts, but this outing matched his season-worst goals-allowed total. Despite the disappointing result, his role in a competitive Wild squad should continue to provide fantasy opportunities, although his save efficiency remains important to monitor. He's enjoying a strong start to the season even if he has the occasional down performance, going 8-2-3 with a 2.14 GAA and a strong .916 save percentage in 13 starts.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Makes 22 saves in overtime win

Sorokin stopped 22 of 25 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.

Sorokin allowed one goal in each period of regulation before keeping Minnesota off the scoreboard in the extra frame. His established starting role continues to provide considerable fantasy value, although inconsistent save efficiency can occasionally offset his strong win potential. Even though he's won four of his last five appearances (4-1-0), Sorokin also has a slightly subpar .896 save percentage on 135 shots faced in that span.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Allows four goals in road defeat

Swayman stopped 14 of 18 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Blues.

Swayman endured a difficult night, finishing with a .778 save percentage as St. Louis capitalized on its limited scoring opportunities. The Bruins generated considerably more shots than their opponents, but the veteran netminder couldn't provide the stability needed to keep them competitive. Swayman's established starting role should continue providing fantasy opportunities, although performances like this can significantly damage his ratios. The 27-year-old goaltender has lost three of his last four appearances, going 1-2-1 with a 3.23 GAA and an .870 save percentage in that span.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Stops 31 shots in win over Boston

Hofer stopped 31 of 32 shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.

Hofer delivered an impressive performance, finishing with a .969 save percentage while helping St. Louis secure a comfortable victory. This strong outing reinforces Hofer's fantasy appeal, and although his long-term value will depend on consistent starts, he seems to have created separation for the No. 1 role for now compared to Jordan Binnington. Hofer has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA and an impressive .939 save percentage over his last four starts.

  • Akira Schmid G | FLA

Panthers' Akira Schmid: Tending twine Friday

Schmid will start Friday's home game against the Jets, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.

Schmid has picked up wins in each of his last two appearances, and he'll draw a third consecutive start Friday. Across his last five outings, he's gone 4-1-0 with a 2.60 GAA and .893 save percentage. During Tuesday's road start against Winnipeg, Schmid turned aside 24 of 25 shots (.960 save percentage) en route to the 5-1 victory.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Struggles against Habs

Oettinger turned away 16 of 20 shots on goal in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Canadiens.

Oettinger had a rare blip to his success this season, as he had his four-game winning streak snapped in Thursday's contest. In the losing effort, he allowed three goals in the first period, including a pair of goals within a 27-second span. Overall, the 27-year-old netminder now has a 6-3-1 record, a 1.69 GAA, a .917 save percentage and a league-leading three shutouts across 10 outings. Despite Thursday's rough outing, he remains an elite-level fantasy option with a level of upside that could capture him his first-career Vezina Trophy.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Picks up win on low volume

Dobes stopped 17 of 19 shots on net in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Stars.

Dobes cruised to his first win since Opening Night on Thursday, as he allowed just one goal in each of the contest's first two periods. With the big win, the 25-year-old netminder is up to a 2-2-2 record, a 4.05 GAA and an .853 save percentage across six appearances. While he's likely ceded the lead role between the pipes to Jacob Fowler, who is currently on a six-game winning streak, Thursday's effort was a step in the right direction for Dobes in terms of earning the top spot on the depth chart back. Even if Dobes continues to sit behind Fowler in the majority of Montreal's remaining games, the former should still see a solid workload given his success as the team's lead option in 2025-26, which gives him a solid floor in fantasy. For now, however, Dobes is best left on waivers outside of deep fantasy leagues.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Tough loss Thursday in OT

Silovs made 30 saves in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

The Penguins looked like they had the win in the bag after rallying from an early 2-0 deficit, but Logan Cooley managed to bat a puck out of midair past Silovs with just one second left on the clock in the third period, and there wasn't much the netminder could do on Mikhail Sergachev's OT winner. Silovs has had a roller coaster beginning to the season -- he already has two shutouts in nine starts, but he's also given up more than four goals in four outings, leaving him with a 5-3-1 record, 2.98 GAA and .889 save percentage.

  • Mammoth's Sebastian Cossa: Carried to OT win by offense

Cossa turned aside 31 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Penguins.

Cossa nearly blew an early 2-0 lead, but Logan Cooley bailed him out by completing a hat trick with exactly one second left on the clock in the third period, batting a puck out of midair past Arturs Silovs. That set the stage for Mikhail Sergachev to flip home the OT winner. Cossa continues to benefit from plenty of offense when he's between the pipes -- despite a lackluster 3.20 GAA and .857 save percentage in five outings (four starts), the 23-year-old netminder sports a 3-1-0 record as Karel Vejmelka's backup.
