  • T.J. Tynan C | COL

Avalanche's T.J. Tynan: Picks up three assists

Tynan logged three assists in AHL Colorado's 5-2 win over Chicago in Game 2 on Saturday.

Tynan played a key role in the Eagles' comeback push. He continues to thrive as a playmaker this postseason with two goals and 10 assists over 12 playoff contests. Tynan had three goals and 47 assists in 67 regular-season outings as well.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Pair of points in Game 5 win

Jarvis scored an empty-net goal on two shots, added a power-play assist and logged two hits in Friday's 6-1 win over the Canadiens in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jarvis earned his second multi-point effort of the postseason. This was his most productive round of the playoffs so far with four points over five games. In total, the 24-year-old forward has three goals, five helpers, 33 shots on net, 21 hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating across 13 playoff contests while maintaining his usual role on the first line.

  • Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Racks up three points

Stankoven scored a goal on four shots, dished two assists, added five hits and went plus-2 in Friday's 6-1 win over the Canadiens in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Stankoven was mostly held in check in this round, though he picked up four points over the last two games. The 23-year-old has had a breakout postseason with nine goals, three assists, 46 shots, 23 hits and a plus-8 rating over 13 appearances. He continues to center the second line and will look to rediscover some offense in the Stanley Cup Finals against the Golden Knights.

  • Lightning's Benjamin Rautiainen: Agrees to entry-level contract

Rautiainen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Lightning on Friday.

Rautiainen wasn't taken by Tampa Bay until the No. 108 overall pick of the 2025 NHL Draft. However, Rautiainen took a huge step forward with Tappara of Finland's Liiga in 2025-26, scoring 25 goals and 77 points in 59 regular-season outings. His 77 points were the best in the league and more than double his 33-point total with Tappara during the 2024-25 regular season. The 20-year-old should be in the mix for an Opening Night roster spot during Tampa Bay's training camp.

  • Jordan Staal C | CAR

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Buries goal in Game 4 win

Staal scored a goal and added five hits in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Canadiens in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Staal ended a four-game point drought with the tally. The center has two goals, three assists, 16 shots, 61 hits, 11 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 12 playoff contests. Staal continues to play in a middle-six role, and while he's not setting the tone on offense, he's adding plenty of physicality and defensive work to keep the Hurricanes' structure in place.

  • Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Pots goal in win

Stankoven scored a goal on seven shots in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Canadiens in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Stankoven had the third goal in a span of 2:47 for the Hurricanes late in the first period. The 23-year-old had been held off the scoresheet in the first three games against the Canadiens, so this was a welcome return to offense for him. Overall, he's put up eight goals, one assist, 42 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-6 rating through 12 playoff contests.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Good to go for Game 4

MacKinnon (lower body) will play against Vegas on Tuesday in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

MacKinnon had one assist, five shots on net, two hits and one blocked shot in Sunday's 5-3 loss to Vegas in Game 3. He sustained the injury in the second period of Sunday's defeat, but he managed to stay in the game. Even though he probably isn't fully healthy, he could still make an impact. Colorado needs to win in Game 4 to stay alive in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Signs one-year deal

Malkin agreed to terms on a one-year, $5.5 million contract with Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Malkin will be back for another year after inking a fresh one-year contract ahead of free agency opening July 1. The veteran center returns following a bounce-back year in which he generated 19 goals and 42 assists in 56 regular-season tilts. His potential for a regression year, especially considering he'll be 40 before the start of the 2026-27 campaign, will make him a risky option in season-long formats.

  • Liam Foudy C | NYI

Islanders' Liam Foudy: Inks one-year deal

Foudy signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Tuesday.

Foudy produced 26 goals and 47 points in 60 regular-season games for AHL Bridgeport in 2025-26. His lone NHL appearance of the campaign came against Carolina on April 14, when he posted one shot on goal, one blocked shot and one hit in 11:17 of ice time. Foudy will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2026-27 season in the minors.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Still being evaluated

MacKinnon (lower body) is undergoing evaluations and treatments, according to Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette on Monday.

MacKinnon sustained the injury in the second period of Sunday's 5-3 loss to Vegas in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. Despite clearly not being fully healthy, he managed to finish the game. It's unclear if he will play in Tuesday's must-win matchup, but an update on his status could come during Colorado's pregame media availability. The Avalanche face a challenging situation with a 3-0 series deficit, and MacKinnon's injury may further impede their chances of a comeback.
