The Bears released Ogbongbemiga on Thursday.

Ogbongbemiga will hit free agency after having suited up for eight regular-season contests with Chicago in 2025, in which span he totaled 18 tackles (five solo) and one pass defensed. He also played 134 snaps on special teams. Ogbongbemiga figures to compete for a similar reserve role elsewhere in the league this offseason.

Denver re-signed Bandy on Thursday.

Bandy spent the majority of the 2025 season on the Broncos' practice squad but made four regular-season appearances with the team, in which he secured all four of his targets for 50 yards and one touchdown. He was also elevated for the team's loss to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, but he was ultimately deemed a healthy scratch. Bandy will spend the offseason competing to reprise a similar depth role with Denver.

Collins recorded 17 tackles (four solo), two forced fumbles and one sack across 16 regular season games in 2025.

Collins was asked to start early in his rookie campaign for a San Francisco squad lacking interior defensive line depth. The second-round pick didn't stand out from a statistical standpoint, but he did record the first sack of his career. Collins should be a frontrunner to start at one of tackle positions in 2026.

West appeared in 14 games for the 49ers in 2025, finishing the regular season with 21 tackles (12 solo) and one sack.

The fourth-round draft pick was eased into the defensive line rotation before watching his snap count rise in the second half of the schedule. West nabbed his first career sack in Week 16 of the regular season and then went on to record another in the 49ers' divisional round loss to the Seahawks. The 23-year-old will enter his second pro season with an opportunity to compete for a starting defensive tackle position.

Johnson (foot) said Thursday that he'll play for the Eagles in 2026, opting against retirement, per Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Johnson will turn 36 in May after missing the final eight games of the 2025 campaign due to a Lisfranc injury. It's unclear if he had surgery, with Thursday's report merely noting that he's continuing his rehab and working to get back to full strength. The future Hall of Famer is under contract through 2027 with the only NFL team he's ever known, ranking among the elite at his position for more than a decade. Even if he declines some after the foot injury, Johnson's decision to keep playing is probably good news for the fantasy value of QB Jalen Hurts and RB Saquon Barkley.

Shaheed said Wednesday that he's "absolutely" interested in re-signing with Seattle, NFL.com's Eric Edholm reports.

Shaheed's snap share and target share dropped after a mid-season trade from New Orleans to Seattle, but he made splash plays for his new team -- both on offense and special teams -- en route to the Super Bowl. He'll now become a free agent in March if he doesn't first re-sign in Seattle, where fellow wideouts Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton (shin) remain under contract.

Emmanwori finished the 2025 regular season with 81 tackles (56 solo), 2.5 sacks, 11 pass breakups and an interception through 14 games. He added 13 tackles (10 solo) and four pass breakups through three postseason outings.

Emmanwori was a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year and played a significant role in the Seahawks' path to the Super Bowl. The second-round pick is officially listed as a defensive back, and his ability to move around the formation allowed the Seahawks to keep him on the field regardless of the situation. Emmanwori proved to be a capable run-stopper and pass-rusher when operating as a linebacker, and his coverage skills exceeded expectations as a rookie while still having some room to grow. His flexibility in the formation was vital to keeping offenses guessing. We should expect Emmanwori to continue his upward trajectory in the 2026 season.

Thomas finished the 2025 regular season with 96 tackles (47 solo), 10.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, eight pass breakups and an interception through 17 regular-season games. He added 18 tackles (seven solo) through three playoff games.

Thomas didn't begin the year as a starter, but he quickly overtook Tyrice Knight (concussion) for the top strongside linebacker job after just a couple of weeks. A third-year pro our of NC State, Thomas averaged 44.6 defensive snaps per game and finished second on the team in tackles and second in tackles for loss. Thomas is poised to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

Ferrell finished the 2025 regular season with 24 tackles (13 solo), including 4.0 sacks, in eight games played for the 49ers.

Ferrell was one of several reserve linemen asked to fill in the big shoes left by DE Nick Bosa's season-ending knee injury. The 28-year-old Ferrell's finest performance came in Week 13 when he posted 2.0 sacks among his nine combined tackles against the Browns. The former No. 4 overall pick has shown some flashes of excellence during this brief run in San Francisco and also during his time as a starter with Washington in 2023. Ferrell -- an unrestricted free agent -- figures to draw interest this upcoming offseason from clubs who believe the defensive end is a late bloomer.

Davis finished the 2025 regular season with 28 tackles (10 solo), including 0.5 sacks, and three passes defended across 17 games played.

The third-year lineman appeared in every game for the 49ers this season after combining for just 16 games played over his previous two years in the league. Davis finished the season as a starter while setting a new high-water mark in combined tackles with 28. The UCF product will attempt to take another step forward in the final year of his rookie contract with the 49ers in 2026.
