Stefon Diggs WR | WAS
Commanders' Stefon Diggs: Will make preseason debut
Diggs is expected to make his preseason debut Saturday against Detroit, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Diggs, Terry McLaurin and Jayden Daniels are all lined up to play Saturday after all three sat out of the Commanders' preseason opener against the Dolphins on Friday, Aug. 14. Diggs joined the Commanders in early August on a one-year, $12 million contract after playing for the Patriots in 2025. He's slated to serve as the team's WR2 behind McLaurin, with Luke McCaffrey, Treylon Burks and rookie third-rounder Antonio Williams all competing for the No. 3 role.

Jayden Daniels QB | WAS
Commanders' Jayden Daniels: Expected to suit up Saturday
Daniels is expected to be active for Saturday's preseason game against the Lions, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
After sitting out Washington's preseason opener against Miami, Daniels appears on track to play Saturday, along with Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs. John Keim of ESPN.com notes that several Commanders starters are playing, but Daniels and the first-team offense may be limited to one or two series in Saturday's exhibition contest.

Christopher Brooks RB | GB
Packers' Chris Brooks: Six touches in preseason win
Brooks rushed five times for 12 yards and brought in his only target for one yard in the Packers' 33-13 preseason win over the Broncos on Friday.
Brooks was the second Packers running back to log a touch behind MarShawn Lloyd, recording his first carry on the play immediately before the latter's 11-yard touchdown reception. Brooks has managed to hold on to a depth running back role in Green Bay in each of the last two seasons thanks in part to his ability to contribute on special teams, but this summer, he's facing a challenge from veteran Pierre Strong, who recorded 37 rushing yards and 89 kickoff-return yards Friday.

Trey Smack K | GB
Packers' Trey Smack: Dazzles in Denver
Smack went 4-of-4 on field goals and 3-of-3 on extra points in Friday's 33-13 preseason victory over the Broncos.
Smack made all three field goals he got up -- including a 58-yarder -- in last week's exhibition opener, and the rookie remained perfect thanks to an ever better night that included makes from both 51 and 59 yards out. Packers kickers haven't been particularly fantasy-friendly in recent years, but if Smack remains true from long range he has a chance to change that.

MarShawn Lloyd RB | GB
Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Records receiving TD in win
Lloyd rushed six times for 17 yards and secured his only target for an 11-yard touchdown in the Packers' 33-13 preseason win over the Broncos on Friday.
Josh Jacobs (groin) was not in uniform Friday, paving the way for Lloyd to see meaningful early-game action for the second straight preseason contest. Lloyd found tough sledding on the ground against a talented Denver defense, but he capped off the Packers' opening drive with his 11-yard touchdown reception. Lloyd may have the inside track to the No. 2 running back role despite playing just one regular-season game in his first two seasons, although that may not be official until the Packers' preseason finale next Friday at home against the Cardinals.

Matthew Golden WR | GB
Packers' Matthew Golden: Big gain on one reception
Golden secured his only target for 19 yards in the Packers' 33-13 preseason win over the Broncos on Friday.
The speedy wideout's one catch was nothing if not noteworthy, as it came on fourth down and against Broncos All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain. Golden put together an inconsistent but serviceable 2025 rookie campaign where he generated a 29-361-0 line on 44 targets over 14 regular-season games, but he posted a four-catch, 84-yard, one-touchdown tally in the wild-card loss to the Bears, and he's expected to take on a much bigger role this season following the offseason departures of Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks.

Xavier Legette WR | CAR
Panthers' Xavier Legette: Dealing with ankle injury
Legette has his right foot in a boot due to an ankle injury that he sustained during Wednesday's joint practice with the Jaguars, Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reports.
Legette twisted his ankle after he was rolled up on during Wednesday's session, and the injury prevented him from playing in the Carolina's 34-17 preseason win over Jacksonville on Friday. Panthers head coach Dave Canales told reporters after Friday's exhibition game that he wasn't sure whether Legette will practice in the coming week, making it unlikely that the 2024 first-round pick will suit up for the team's preseason finale against the Texans on Friday, Aug. 28. While Legette is sidelined, Jimmy Horn, John Metchie and David Moore will all see additional reps as the team's WR3 behind Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker.

Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Quiet night in preseason loss
Sutton failed to bring in either of his two targets in the Broncos' 33-13 preseason loss to the Packers on Friday.
Sutton made his second straight preseason start, but unlike his three-catch, 60-yard effort against the Falcons in the exhibition opener, the veteran wideout was blanked Friday. Nevertheless, Sutton naturally has plenty of rapport already with Bo Nix, so the duo likely will next see the field in a Week 1 road matchup against the Chiefs on Monday night, Sept. 14.

RJ Harvey RB | DEN
Broncos' RJ Harvey: Scores receiving TD in loss
Harvey rushed once for five yards and brought in both targets for 25 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 33-13 preseason loss to the Packers on Friday.
Harvey opened the game as the starting running back due to J.K. Dobbins sitting out, and the former capped off Denver's opening drive with a 21-yard touchdown reception immediately following a four-yard catch. Harvey appears ticketed for a high-volume No. 2 role behind Dobbins in 2026 after generating 896 yards from scrimmage and 12 total touchdowns across 17 regular-season games during his rookie 2025 campaign.

Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Pair of catches in preseason win
Watson brought in two of three targets for 19 yards in the Packers' 33-13 preseason win over the Broncos on Friday.
Watson was involved right from the start of Friday's game, drawing a target on the first play from scrimmage that went incomplete and then recording a 14-yard grab on the second. The veteran receiver's other reception was a five-yard catch in the red zone later in the opening drive, and the oft-injured Watson likely will next take the field in a Week 1 road matchup against the Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 13.
