Bills' Christian Benford: Scores two defensive TDs in 2025
Benford logged 43 tackles (32 solo), including 2.0 sacks, four pass defenses (one interception and a pick-six), one fumble recovery and a scoop-and-score across 14 regular-season games in 2025.
Benford got off to a nice start with at least four tackles in each of the first five games of the regular season, but he failed to record more than three stops in each of his last nine games. He scored the first touchdown of his four-year NFL career with a scoop-and-score against the Steelers in Week 13, and he followed that up with a 63-yard pick-six one week later in a win against the Bengals. Benford has posted two interceptions in each of the last three years, and he'll continue to operate as a key piece in the Bills' secondary after signing a four-year, $72 million contract extension with Buffalo in March.

All three of Benford's tackles came in the first half, and his two pass defenses were a season high. The fourth-year corner is up to 43 tackles (32 solo), including 2.0 sacks, four pass defenses (one interception and a pick-six) and two fumble recoveries (including one for a touchdown) through 14 regular-season games.

Bills' Christian Benford: Returning in Week 16
Benford (toe) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Browns.
Benford was sidelined for the Bills' Week 15 win over the Patriots due to a toe injury, but Friday's full practice session suggests he's since moved past the issue. Benford is a crucial part of Buffalo's secondary, recording 39 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, and two interceptions in 12 appearances this season. Now fully healthy, he's expected to operate as the Bills' top boundary corner Sunday.

Bills' Christian Benford: Listed as limited
Benford (toe) was a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.
Benford was unable to suit up for Buffalo's win over New England in Week 15. He didn't practice last Friday, so getting in at least limited on-field reps to begin Week 16 is a tangible step in the right direction. Benford will have two more chances to upgrade to full practice reps ahead of Sunday's game against Cleveland.

Bills' Christian Benford: Unable to suit up Week 15
Benford (toe) is inactive for Sunday's tilt versus the Patriots.
Benford popped up on the injury report with a toe issue Thursday and finished the week as a non-participant at practice Friday. Per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, the injury isn't considered long term, but the Bills determined that Benford would have limited movement Sunday if he had suited up. Maxwell Hairston is getting a start at cornerback against New England in Benford's absence.
