  • Chiefs' Drue Tranquill: Logs nine stops Christmas Day

Tranquill finished Thursday's 20-13 loss to the Broncos with nine tackles (seven solo).

Tranquill finished Thursday's loss as the Chiefs' third-leading tackler behind Nick Bolton (12) and Chamarri Conner (10). It snapped Tranquill's double-digit tackle streak at three games, and at 98 combined tackles through 16 regular-season games, the seventh-year pro is on the cusp of cracking the tackling century mark for the second time in his NFL career. Week 18 against the Raiders is Tranquill's final opportunity to reach that milestone.

  • Tyler Shough QB | NO

Saints' Tyler Shough: Nearly perfect in Week 17 win

Shough completed 22 of 27 passes for 333 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while rushing four times for six yards in the Saints' 34-26 win over the Titans on Sunday. He also committed a fumble recovered by New Orleans.

Shough stuck to a tight circle of six targets overall and was once again operating short-handed in his pass-catching corps, considering Mason Tipton (groin) was inactive. Nevertheless, the rookie brought the Saints back from an early 13-0 deficit with the help of 19- and 10-yard touchdown passes to Chris Olave and Kevin Austin, respectively. Shough's first pair of career 300-yard performances have come in the last two games, and he'll aim to close out what has turned into a highly promising rookie season in a Week 18 road matchup against the Falcons.

  • Chiefs' Chamarri Conner: Double-digit stops vs. Denver

Conner recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) during the Chiefs' 20-13 loss to the Broncos on Thursday.

Conner played every single defensive snap and finished Sunday's game as the Chiefs' second-leading tackler behind Nick Bolton (12). It was Conner's fourth game in which he's posted double-digit stops and first since Week 8 against the Commanders. The third-year safety is up to 113 tackles (73 solo), including 2.0 sacks, one pass defense and two forced fumbles through 16 regular-season games.

  • Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Big yardage in key loss

Mayfield completed 33 of 44 passes for 346 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions while adding three rushes for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-17 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also committed two fumbles, losing one and recovering the other.

The Buccaneers surprisingly found themselves in the trail position for a majority of the game, leading to Mayfield's second-highest pass-attempt total of the season. The veteran signal-caller parlayed that volume of opportunity into a season-high completion tally and his second 300-yard effort in 2025. Mayfield connected with Chris Godwin (five yards) and Mike Evans (four yards) for his two TD passes, but a fourth-quarter interception and lost fumble were critical miscues that played a key role in the loss. Mayfield and his teammates will have a golden opportunity to atone, however, as a Week 18 home matchup against the Panthers presents a chance for the Bucs to still win the division, with a Week 18 win coupled with a Falcons loss in one of the next two games.

  • Trey McBride TE | ARI

Cardinals' Trey McBride: Sets NFL record in Cincy

McBride caught 10 of 13 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Bengals.

The fourth-year star set the all-time NFL record for receptions by a tight end in a single season with the performance, breezing past the mark of 116 set by Zach Ertz with the Eagles in 2018. McBride has compiled a monster 119-1,174-11 line on 161 targets through 16 games, and unless the Cardinals decide to sit all their key players in Week 18, he'll look to add to those numbers against the Rams.

  • Nick Bolton LB | KC

Chiefs' Nick Bolton: Big performance Christmas Day

Bolton tallied 12 tackles (six solo) and an interception during the Chiefs' 20-13 loss to the Broncos on Thursday.

Bolton finished Thursday's contest as the game's leading tackler and picked off Bo Nix late in the first quarter, which the Chiefs offense converted into a five-yard touchdown pass from Chris Oladokun to Brashard Smith 10 plays later. It was Bolton's first interception of the season and first pick since Week 15 of the 2024 season. Bolton has logged double-digit stops in five consecutive games and is up to 145 tackles (49 solo), including 1.0 sacks, six pass defenses and one forced fumble through 16 regular-season games.

  • Michael Wilson WR | ARI

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Finds end zone in Week 17 loss

Wilson caught five of 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Bengals.

Marvin Harrison (heel) left the game early, leaving Wilson as Jacoby Brissett's clear top option at wide receiver once again. The 2023 third-round pick responded by extending his TD streak to four games, hauling in a 38-yard score in the second quarter. Over that four-game stretch, Wilson's delivered an impressive 23-337-5 line on 40 targets. With the Cardinals having little incentive to put Harrison back on the field in the season finale, Wilson figures to be busy again in Week 18 against the Rams.

  • Tony Pollard RB | TEN

Titans' Tony Pollard: Another productive outing Sunday

Pollard rushed 18 times for 85 yards and brought in both targets for 10 yards in the Titans' 34-26 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Despite the game going down as yet another in the loss column for the Titans, Pollard continued his productive stretch run with his fourth consecutive outing with greater than 80 rushing yards. Pollard had actually cleared the century mark in the three prior games in that sample, so even though Sunday's production qualified as a downturn, it was enough to vault the veteran back over the 1,000-yard mark for the fourth consecutive campaign. Pollard will need a very reachable 46 rushing yards in the Week 18 road matchup against the Jaguars to eclipse his current career high of 1,079 yards, which he established in his debut season in Tennessee in 2024.

  • Commanders' Mike Sainristil: Tallies six stops Christmas Day

Sainristil posed six tackles (four solo) and one pass defense during the Commanders' 30-23 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday.

Sainristil played a career-high 90 defensive snaps during the Commanders' Week 17 loss. The second-year corner is up to 79 tackles (48 solo), 11 pass defenses (four interceptions) and one forced fumble through 16 regular-season games. Sainristil and Washington will close out the 2025 regular season on the road against Philadelphia in Week 18.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Makes one catch in Week 17 win

Wilson secured one of two targets for eight yards during Miami's 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Wilson saw an opportunity to handle increased opportunities on offense versus Tampa Bay, as Jaylen Waddle was kept on the sideline between the middle of the second quarter and end of the third quarter due to a ribs injury. Across nine regular-season appearances, Wilson has now compiled five catches for 44 yards on seven targets. He stands to close out the year in his usual reserve role at wide receiver as the Dolphins prepare for a Week 18 regular-season finale at New England.
