Joseph-Day (elbow) was a limited participant in Tennessee's practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Joseph-Day appeared on the injury report Wednesday, though it's unclear when he hurt his elbow. The 30-year-old has yet to miss a game this season but could be in danger of sitting out Sunday's matchup versus the Jaguars if he's unable to practice fully either Thursday or Friday.

Head coach Kellen Moore said Wednesday that Smyth and Cade York will compete for the Saints' placekicker job, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
York joined Smyth on the practice squad Tuesday, and they'll compete against each other to start against the Dolphins on Sunday after Blake Grupe was waived. Jimmy Holiday: Signs with Seahawks
The Seahawks signed Holiday to their practice squad Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Holiday is headed to Seattle after being cut from Kansas City's practice squad Monday. The 23-year-old didn't appear in any games with the Chiefs but could be elevated and make his regular-season debut with the Seahawks.

Luke Gifford LB | SF
49ers' Luke Gifford: Limited to open week
Gifford (hip/neck) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Gifford was active in Week 12 against the Panthers, but he did not log a snap in the team's 20-9 win over the Panthers. The linebacker has been nursing both hip and neck injuries at practice, so his limited participation Wednesday doesn't come as a surprise. Gifford will have two more chances to practice in full prior to Sunday's matchup with Cleveland.

Okuayinonu (ankle) is expected to miss multiple weeks, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

With the 49ers set to be idle in Week 14, it's possible that the defensive lineman's absence is limited to just one game. In the meantime, Robert Beal (concussion), Keion White and Clelin Ferrell are candidates to step into a starting role on San Francisco's defensive line against the Browns on Sunday.
