  • Brock Bowers TE | LV

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Active as expected Sunday

Bowers (knee) is active for Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Saints.

Reports earlier in the day indicated Bowers was in line to make his 2026 season debut Sunday, and that has now been made official. The star tight end practiced in limited fashion in each of the first two days of Week 3 prep before sitting out Friday's session, which was labeled as a pre-planned absence by head coach Klint Kubiak. With Bowers ready to roll for the first time in the new season and no reports about him being on a snap limit, Michael Mayer appears set to return to a true No. 2 role, while fewer targets figure to be available for the likes of wideouts Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor and Jack Bech.

  • Zay Flowers WR | BAL

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Suiting up Sunday

Flowers (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Flowers' active status is a bit of a surprise considering he's logged just one limited practice since suffering a hamstring injury in the first half of a Week 1 win at Indianapolis. On top of that, the field conditions in Brazil appear to be less than ideal, but it won't stop the Ravens from making him available to handle snaps Sunday. How many plays that may translate to remains to be seen, but Flowers and Rashod Bateman presumably will be the top wide receivers at the disposal of QB Lamar Jackson.

  • Jack Jones CB | SF

49ers' Jack Jones: Cleared for Week 3

Jones (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Brooke Evans of the 49ers' official site reports.

Jones sustained a foot injury in the 49ers' Week 2 win over the Dolphins, but the fifth-year pro has been cleared to play in Sunday's NFC West showdown. He's logged three pass defenses and zero tackles through the first two games of the regular season while serving in a rotational role in the secondary.

  • Donte Jackson CB | LAC

Chargers' Donte Jackson: Done for rest of Week 3

Jackson (concussion) won't return to Sunday's game versus the Bills.

Jackson suffered a head injury and exited the game for an evaluation. Now that a concussion is confirmed, it could mean an extended absence is on the horizon. With Jackson done for the remainder of Week 3, Cam Hart and Tarheeb Still are candidates to see more action.

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

49ers' Mike Evans: Active in Week 3

Evans (hip) is listed as active Sunday against the Cardinals, Brooke Evans of the 49ers' official site reports.

Evans managed just one limited session (Friday) during Week 3 prep due to a hip injury, but there wasn't much doubt that he'd be able to play through it Sunday, which now has been confirmed. In a 49ers receiving corps that seemingly loses one player per week -- Demarcus Robinson (high ankle sprain) joined Christian Kirk (calf), De'Zhaun Stribling (ankle) and Ricky Pearsall (knee) on IR on Saturday -- Evans is the unquestioned top wide receiver available to QB Brock Purdy, a role which so far has yielded a 9-103-1 line on 10 targets through two games with his new team.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Ruled out for rest of Sunday's game

The Dolphins ruled Achane (knee) out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Achane carried three times for 17 yards and failed to corral his lone target before exiting the game with 10:42 remaining in the first quarter, when he landed awkwardly after being tackled at the end of an 11-yard run. After being evaluated in the blue medical tent and being sent to the locker room, Achane was deemed questionable to return. Per Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Achane was sporting a slight limp upon rejoining the Dolphins on the sideline for the start of the second half, and the Dolphins ruled him out for the day shortly after their first possession of the third quarter. With Jaylen Wright (foot) inactive for the contest, the Dolphins will finish out the game with Ollie Gordon as their lone available running back.

  • Max Melton CB | ARI

Cardinals' Max Melton: Good to go for Week 3

Melton (toe) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Melton logged back-to-back limited practices to end Week 3 prep and draw the questionable tag, but he's been cleared to play Sunday after going through pregame warmups. The third-year pro has four tackles (two solo) and two pass defenses through two regular-season games.

  • Roy Lopez DT | ARI

Cardinals' Roy Lopez: Cleared to play Week 3

Lopez (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Lopez earned the questionable tag for Week 3 after logging a limited practice Friday, and he's demonstrated enough in pregame warmups to be given the green light by medical staff to play in Sunday's NFC West clash. Lopez has eight tackles (three solo) through the first two games of the regular season.

  • Carson Beck QB | ARI

Cardinals' Carson Beck: Emergency QB3 again

Beck (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the emergency third quarterback against the 49ers on Sunday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Beck will once again be the Cardinals' emergency QB3, meaning he won't be allowed to play Sunday unless both Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

  • Nick Emmanwori SAF | SEA

Seahawks' Nick Emmanwori: Returns to Sunday's game

Emmanwori (hamstring) returned to Sunday's game against the Commanders, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Emmanwori exited the contest due to a hamstring injury. but he's returned in relatively short order. With Emmanwori back in the equation, Julian Neal, Maxen Hook and Nehemiah Pritchett will likely log fewer snaps the rest of the way.
