Jamal Agnew WR | ATL
Jamal Agnew: Waived by Falcons
Atlanta waived Agnew on Saturday, Tori McElhaney and Terrin Waack of the team's official site report.
Agnew spent most of the 2025 campaign operating as one of the Falcons' top kick returners, but he was a healthy scratch in Week 15 and has now been cut by the team. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, Agnew will likely pursue a spot on a practice squad elsewhere in the league.

Johnny Newton DT | WAS
Commanders' Jer'Zhan Newton: Cleared to play Saturday
Newton (illness) is active for Saturday's divisional matchup against the Eagles.
Newton was initially listed as questionable for Week 16 due to an illness, but the second-year pro has returned to health in time to suit up for Washington. Expect Newton to contribute in his usual rotational role behind Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw.

Jonathan Jones DB | PHI
Commanders' Jonathan Jones: Ready to face Eagles
Jones (ribs) is active for Saturday's divisional matchup against Philadelphia.
Jones was initially listed as questionable to suit up versus the Eagles after having missed Week 15 due to a rib injury, but he's been cleared to handle his usual role as a key contributor at cornerback behind Antonio Hamilton and Mike Sainristil. He began Week 16 with two consecutive full practices before logging a DNP on Thursday.

Ali Gaye LB | HOU
Titans' Ali Gaye: Remains out Sunday
Gaye (knee) has been downgraded and ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs.
The LSU product is now in line to miss his seventh consecutive game as he continues to recover from a knee injury. While Gaye remains sidelined in Week 16, Jaylen Harrell and Truman Jones will likely operate as Tennessee's top reserve outside linebackers.

Quinnen Williams DT | DAL
Cowboys' Quinnen Williams: Dealing with neck issue
Williams is dealing with a neck injury in addition to being in concussion protocol but remains questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
The 28-year-old appears unlikely to suit up Sunday despite his questionable designation. If Williams is sidelined for the Week 16 matchup, Kenny Clark and Solomon Thomas will likely both have expanded roles on Dallas' defensive line.

DaRon Bland CB | DAL
Cowboys' DaRon Bland: Moves to IR
Bland (foot) was placed on the injured reserve list Saturday, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
The Fresno State product had already been ruled out for Dallas' Week 16 matchup against the Chargers, but following his placement on IR, he'll be forced to miss the remainder of the regular season. Bland may return later in the playoffs if the Cowboys were to qualify, but that currently seems unlikely. Over 12 appearances this season, the 26-year-old recorded 73 total tackles and six passes defensed, including one pick-six. While he's sidelined, expect Shavon Revel and Trikweze Bridges to have expanded roles in Dallas' secondary.
-
Trevon Diggs CB | GB
Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Activated Saturday
Diggs (knee) was activated from the injured reserve list Saturday, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
The 27-year-old has missed Dallas' last eight games due to a knee injury, but it now appears he'll return for the Week 16 matchup against the Chargers. In six contests prior to the injury, Diggs tallied 18 total tackles but allowed a 148.7 passer rating when targeted. Now fully healthy, he's expected to operate as one of the Cowboys' top boundary corners during Sunday's matchup.

Saints' Charlie Smyth: Inks three-year deal with Saints
Smyth signed a three-year deal with the Saints on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The 24-year-old from Northern Ireland has served as the Saints' placekicker in each of their last three games, converting on four of five field-goal attempts and all five of his extra-point tries. Following his new deal Saturday, Smyth is expected to remain New Orleans' top kicker for the foreseeable future.

Christian Kuntz LS | PIT
Steelers' Christian Kuntz: Ready for Sunday
Kuntz (knee) has been upgraded and has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Lions.
The Duquesne product was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday due to a knee injury, but it now appears he's ready to play in Sunday's contest. Expect Kuntz to serve as the Steelers' long snapper during the Week 16 matchup.

Jack Conklin OT | CLE
Browns' Jack Conklin: Out for the year
Conklin (concussion) was placed on the injured reserve list Saturday.
The 31-year-old hasn't played since suffering his second concussion of the season in the Browns' Week 13 loss to the 49ers, and he's now in line to miss the remainder of the year. Conklin agreed to a reworked contract this past offseason with Cleveland that makes him a free agent after the 2025 season, per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com. KT Leveston is likely the next man up at right tackle for Sunday's matchup against the Bills.
