  • Jets' Sterling Shepard: Elevated ahead of Week 4

The Jets elevated Shepard from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.

Shepard is set to suit up on game day for the second straight week. Last Sunday in Detroit, the veteran wideout logged a healthy workload of 30 offensive snaps -- third-most among New York wideouts -- and caught his only target for three yards. Shepard could also garner a significant role this Sunday with Adonai Mitchell again ruled out due to a finger injury.

  • Chargers' Patrick Herbert: Elevated again for Week 4

The Chargers elevated Herbert from their practice squad to their active roster for Sunday's matchup in Seattle.

Herbert will get the opportunity to work his brother, QB Justin Herbert, for a second straight week. In Week 3 versus Buffalo, the tight-end Herbert logged just one offensive snap and six special-teams snaps without logging any stats. He'll likely have a minor role again this Sunday despite starter Charlie Kolar (forearm) having already been ruled out.

  • Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: Clear for Week 4

O'Connell (personal) had his injury designation for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against Kansas City cleared on Saturday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

O'Connell missed each of Las Vegas' past two games while dealing with a personal matter. He's now back with the team and eligible to play Sunday, though he'll likely be a healthy scratch with Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza both ahead of him on the QB depth chart.

  • Xavier Legette WR | CAR

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Moved to injured reserve

The Panthers placed Legette (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Legette has been working through a knee injury the last two weeks, and while he was slated to miss a second straight contest Sunday against the Lions, he'll now sit out at least the next four (including Week 4), meaning his next chance for game action is Sunday, Nov. 8 versus the Broncos. In Legette's continued absence, Carolina will continue to lean on Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker (quadriceps), Brycen Tremayne, John Metchie and David Moore at wide receiver.

  • Jadarian Price RB | SEA

Seahawks' Jadarian Price: Placed on injured reserve

Price (chest) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Price saw his practice participation during Week 4 prep decline due to a chest injury before he was ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers. The injury is severe enough for the rookie first-rounder to go on IR, meaning Price will be forced to miss at least the next four games and won't be eligible to return until at least Week 8 against the Bears on Sunday, Nov. 2. Emanuel Wilson and George Holani will serve as the Seahawks' top running backs for Week 4 due to Price's absence, but Zach Charbonnet (knee) could also be in the mix for backfield duties as soon as Week 5 against the 49ers if he's cleared to be activated from the reserve/PUP list.

  • Titans' Garrett Dellinger: Under the weather

Dellinger (illness) has been added to the injury report as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Kim reports.

Dellinger's status for Sunday's road game is now up in the air as the second-year pro battles an illness. The 2025 seventh-rounder was in consideration to start at right guard after both Fernando Carmona (ankle) and Jackson Slater (foot) were placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Antonio Mafi would start at right guard if Dellinger is not available.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Clears concussion protocol

Cooper (shoulder) has cleared the league's concussion protocol and has been removed from the Packers' injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Cooper was initially tagged as questionable, but his full practice Friday was a good indication that he was progressing through the NFL's concussion protocol. The third-year pro has accumulated 21 tackles (14 solo), including 2.0 sacks, through the first three games of the regular season.

  • Pete Werner LB | NO

Saints' Pete Werner: Questionable vs. Atlanta

Werner (neck) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Falcons, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Werner injured his neck during the Saints' 35-27 loss to the Raiders in Week 3, which prevented him from participating in each of New Orleans' first two practices of Week 4 prep. His status may not be officially known until about 90 minutes before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Saints announce their list of inactive players. Kaden Elliss (calf) has already been ruled out, and if Werner cannot play, then Isaiah Stalbird and Danny Stutsman would be the next men up at inside linebacker.

  • Saints' Carl Granderson: Ruled out for Week 4

Granderson (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Atlanta, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Granderson injured his ankle during the Saints' Week 3 loss to the Raiders. The injury is severe enough for him to not suit up Monday, and his next chance to play is Week 5 against the Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 11. Anfernee Jennings (knee) has also been ruled out, so Myles Cole and Chris Rumph are both in line for more defensive snaps opposite Chase Young.

  • Kaden Elliss LB | NO

Saints' Kaden Elliss: Won't play against Atlanta

Elliss (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Falcons, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Elliss will miss his first game of the 2026 season due to a calf injury. Pete Werner (neck) is also listed as questionable, so the Saints may have to start Danny Stutsman and Isaiah Stalbird at inside linebacker for Monday's NFC South showdown. Elliss' next opportunity to play is Week 5 against the Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 11.
