  • Alex Austin DB | MIA

Patriots' Alex Austin: Won't face Chargers

Austin (wrist) was not activated from injured reserve Saturday and has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's wild-card game against the Chargers.

Austin turned in three limited practices for the second consecutive week, but it won't be enough for him to return. He hasn't played since Week 12, though he could be back for the divisional round should the Patriots defeat the Chargers on Sunday night.

  • Ajani Carter DB | HOU

Texans' Ajani Carter: Draws questionable tag

Carter (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Monday's wild-card matchup against the Steelers, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Carter has appeared in only two games this season, most recently due to the hamstring injury. He logged full practices throughout the week, so he appears to have a realistic chance to return. However, Carter will need to be activated from injured reserve Sunday to have the chance to suit up.

  • Trent Brown OT | HOU

Texans' Trent Brown: Ready for postseason

Brown (ankle/knee) does not have an injury designation ahead of Monday's wild-card matchup against the Steelers, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Brown missed the Texans' final two games of the regular season with ankle and knee injuries, though he logged two limited practices to begin the week before upgrading to full participation Saturday. He'll be ready to start at right tackle to begin Houston's postseason run.

  • Steelers' Isaiahh Loudermilk: Questionable to face Texans

Loudermilk (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Monday's wild-card game against the Texans, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Loudermilk hasn't taken the field since Week 2, and he logged a pair of limited practices during the week. He'll need to be activated from injured reserve before the game to have the chance to suit up.

  • Azeez Ojulari LB | ATL

Eagles' Azeez Ojulari: Won't face 49ers

Ojulari (hamstring) was not activated from injured reserve Saturday and will not play in Sunday's wild-card game against the 49ers, per the NFL transaction log.

Ojulari hasn't played since Week 7, but he logged full practices throughout the week. If the Eagles advance to the divisional round, he seemingly has a good chance to return.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Hurts ankle in wild-card game

Cooper is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Bears after suffering an ankle injury.

Cooper hurt his ankle in the second half and was spotted walking back to the locker room. He logged a team-high eight tackles prior to his departure, and Isaiah McDuffie is likely to be asked to take on a bigger role so long as Cooper is sidelined.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Rams' Davante Adams: Targeted 13 times

Adams recorded five receptions on 13 targets for 72 yards in Saturday's 34-31 wild-card win over the Panthers.

Adams managed to suit up for the first time since Week 15. While he showed some signs of rust, Adams was targeted heavily as the passing offense flowed through him and Puka Nacua. Adams particularly came alive in the second half, logging three receptions for 58 yards in the final two quarters -- highlighted by a 23-yard catch early in the fourth quarter. He should be more consistent in the divisional round and will almost certainly retain a key role in the offense.

  • Blake Corum RB | LAR

Rams' Blake Corum: Near-even split with Williams

Corum rushed the ball 11 times for 45 yards in Saturday's 34-31 wild-card win over the Panthers. He added two receptions on two targets for 13 yards.

Corum worked in a nearly even split with Kyren Williams, totaling 13 touches to Williams' 15. Corum was moderately efficient but was unable to break any big gains, as his longest rush went for only eight yards. While Williams will likely have the better of the role in the divisional round, Corum should retain a significant workload.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | PIT

Panthers' Rico Dowdle: Another quiet showing

Dowdle recorded five rushes for nine yards in Saturday's 34-31 wild-card loss to the Rams. He added one reception on two targets for six yards.

Dowdle has been particularly inefficient to close the season, averaging only 3.3 yards per carry across Carolina's final four regular-season contests. He also lost his status as the team's lead back in the playoff loss, with Chuba Hubbard out-touching Dowdle 15-6. Dowdle is headed to free agency for the second consecutive offseason, and he is likely to be signed as a complementary back given his fade down the stretch after a strong start to 2025.

  • Jacob Monk C | GB

Packers' Jacob Monk: Won't return against Green Bay

Monk (biceps) will not return to Saturday's game against the Bears.

Monk suffered the injury in the first half, likely on special teams. His absence will hurt the depth of the Packers' offensive line, but it isn't likely to greatly affect the unit.
