  • Bryce Oliver WR | TEN

Titans' Bryce Oliver: Limited to open week

Oliver (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Oliver has missed the Titans' last six games due to a lingering knee injury, but a full practice over the next two days would put him in line to return against the Chargers on Sunday. Oliver would likely serve in a return role on special teams if he's cleared to play Week 9, though he could also see some snaps on offense if Calvin Ridley (hamstring) is cleared to play.

  • Ladd McConkey WR | LAC

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Limited by calf injury

McConkey (calf) was limited at practice Wednesday.

While recording a 58 percent snap share in the Chargers' Week 8 win over the Vikings, McConkey caught six of a team-high 10 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown. The wideout has put up a 43-468-3 receiving line in eight contests to date and now has two more chances to upgrade his participation level in advance of Sunday's game against the Titans.

  • Dolphins' Dee Eskridge: Questionable for TNF

Eskridge (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Ravens, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Eskridge increased his practice participation over the shortened week, culminating in a full session Wednesday to earn him the questionable tag for Thursday night's game. His official status for Week 9 may not be officially known until the Dolphins announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. If Eskridge is not cleared to play, then Malik Washington and Ollie Gordon would likely handle most of the return duties on kickoffs and punts while Cedrick Wilson and Tahj Washington would be in line for more rotational snaps at wide receiver.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Jaguars' Dyami Brown: Opens week with limited practice

Brown (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Brown has been working through a shoulder issue since sustaining the injury in Week 3 against the Texans. He'll continue to have his practice reps monitored to avoid aggravating the injury, and he'll likely be cleared to play against the Raiders on Sunday unless he suffers a setback. The 2021 third-rounder logged six catches (on 13 targets) for 78 yards and one carry for seven yards across his last three games.

  • Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Full practice after bye week

Meyers (knee) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

The Week 8 bye apparently did him good, following an absence for the Raiders' embarrassing Week 7 loss to Kansas City. There hasn't been much good to say about the Las Vegas offense this season, but QB Geno Smith will at least have his main weapons healthy for the first time in a long time when he faces the Jaguars this Sunday. TE Brock Bowers (knee) was also a full participant Wednesday.

  • Texans' Christian Kirk: Limited in practice

Kirk (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

The same goes for Nico Collins, who also returned to practice after missing all of last week. Collins is still in concussion protocol but reportedly on track to gain clearance, which means Houston's WR room could be at full strength this Sunday against Denver. It remains to be seen if Collins and/or Kirk will progress to full practice participation Thursday.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Limited in return to practice

Collins (concussion) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

It's no surprise that Collins was limited in his return to practice after not participating at all last week. He's reportedly on track to be cleared from concussion protocol before Sunday's game against the Broncos, but there's still risk of a setback or stalled progress until that actually happens.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Listed as limited Wednesday

Thomas (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Thomas practiced with a harness over his shoulder, apparently still dealing with discomfort after a Week 8 bye. It sounds like he's gearing up to play this Sunday in Las Vegas, but the injury could impact his performance even if it doesn't threaten his availability.

  • Anthony Gould WR | IND

Colts' Anthony Gould: Opens week with DNP

Gould (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Gould sustained a knee injury during the Colts' Week 8 win over the Titans, when he played 10 snaps (three on offense, seven on special teams) and logged 33 yards on two kickoff returns and 42 yards on two punt returns. He'll have two more opportunities to return to practice and avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Steelers, but if he isn't cleared to play, then Ashton Dulin would stand to take on most of the kickoff and punt return responsibilities for the Colts.

  • Marvin Mims WR | DEN

Broncos' Marvin Mims: Not practicing Wednesday

Mims (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Per Tomasson, Mims, who is in concussion protocol in the wake of this past Sunday's 44-24 win over the Cowboys, was able to work on a side field Wednesday. The wideout thus has two more chances to practice fully before Denver's Week 9 injury designations are posted. Through eight games thus far, Mims has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option, recording a 22/234/1 receiving line on 32 targets in that span.
