Mecole Hardman WR | BUF
Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Leads team in receiving
Hardman racked up nine receptions (12 targets) for 76 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Bills.
Hardman wasn't able to break off any huge plays as Patrick Mahomes was under duress from the Bills' pass rush for the majority of the game. Those with shares of the wide receiver will be pleased to see how involved the speedster remained in the offense despite the recent addition of Josh Gordon (one catch for 11 yards). Hardman remains a deeper-league option with some upside heading into a Week 6 matchup with Washington.

Stefon Diggs WR | WAS
Bills' Stefon Diggs: Posts 69 yards in win
Diggs had two receptions on five targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over Kansas City.
Diggs wasn't needed much in a contest that the Bills led from wire to wire. The star wideout did make a splash with a big 61-yard reception but remained relatively quiet otherwise. Buffalo is getting more contributions from other receiving assets like Dawson Knox and Emmanuel Sanders this season, which has cut into Diggs' production compared to last year's monster totals. He remains a must-start option in this high-octane offense heading into a matchup against the Titans next Monday.

Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
Chiefs' Tyreek Hill: Hurts knee in loss
Hill suffered an unspecified knee injury in Sunday's loss to Buffalo, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports. Hill had seven receptions on 13 targets for 63 yards and one carry for 15 yards in the loss.
Hill was able to play well into the fourth quarter and didn't appear to be hurt, but head coach Andy Reid said after the game that Hill hurt his knee. The severity of the injury isn't clear, so check his status in practice ahead of next week's game against Washington.
-
Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ
Titans' Josh Reynolds: Role shrinks in Week 5
Reynolds recorded one reception on one target for eight yards in Sunday's win over the Jaguars.
Reynolds couldn't replicate the volume he saw in Week 4, as both A.J. Brown (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (undisclosed) returned to command targets. Reynolds' lone reception came midway through the second quarter and moved the chains on a drive that concluded with a touchdown. Consistent volume may be difficult for him to find moving forward, particularly when Julio Jones (hamstring) is able to return.

Khadarel Hodge WR | SF
Lions' KhaDarel Hodge: Snags go-ahead two-point conversion
Hodge caught one of five targets for 17 yards plus one two-point conversion during Sunday's 19-17 loss to Minnesota.
Hodge wasn't able to do much with the bump in targets he saw with Quintez Cephus (shoulder) sidelined, but he made up for it with a reception on a go-ahead two-point conversion with under a minute remaining. If Cephus misses time and Tyrell Williams (concussion) remains sidelined, Hodge could be a bigger part of the rotation in Week 6 against the Bengals.
-
Trinity Benson WR | CLE
Lions' Trinity Benson: Held without catch
Benson was targeted twice but did not record a catch during Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Vikings.
Averaging over three targets per game entering the week, Benson wasn't able to get anything going despite seeing extra run in the absence of Quintez Cephus (shoulder). Should Tyrell Williams (concussion) remain sidelined in Week 6 against the Bengals, Benson could continue to see an uptick in playing time.
-
Kalif Raymond WR | CHI
Lions' Kalif Raymond: Blanked by Vikings
Raymond saw two targets but did not have a catch during Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Vikings.
Raymond's biggest contribution came on a punt return, and he otherwise watched Amon-Ra St. Brown rack up seven catches with Quintez Cephus (shoulder) sidelined. While Cephus seems set to miss time, Tyrell Williams (concussion) is eligible to return from IR in Week 6 against the Bengals. However, Cephus' possible absence could allow Raymond, who is averaging 5.5 targets entering the game, to approach the season-high 10 targets he saw in Week 3.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Gets precautionary x-rays
Toney was shuttled on a cart for X-rays on his leg after being ejected from Sunday's 44-20 loss to Dallas, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
The tests are believed to have been precautionary, but the Giants can ill afford to lose the rookie first-round pick considering they could already be without Kenny Golladay (knee), Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) in the receiving corps. Toney's name may surface on the injury report once the G-Men resume practicing, and his status for the team's Week 6 matchup with the Rams could also be affected by possible supplemental discipline for punching Cowboys safety Damontae Kazee, which prompted Toney's ejection Sunday.
-
Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR
Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Busy day in loss
Renfrow secured six of eight targets for 56 yards in the Raiders' 20-9 loss to the Bears on Sunday. He also returned one punt for nine yards.
Renfrow paced the Raiders in receptions and receiving yards while co-leading the team in targets on the afternoon. With no fewer than five catches in any game and a second straight six-reception tally Sunday, Renfrow is well on pace to comfortably exceed the career-best total of 56 receptions he managed in 2020. The Clemson product will look to continue churning out the production in a Week 6 road battle versus the Broncos.
-
Christian Kirk WR | SF
Cardinals' Christian Kirk: Notches 50 yards from scrimmage
Kirk recorded five catches (on five targets) for 39 yards and one 11-yard carry during Sunday's 17-10 win versus the 49ers.
Through five games, Kirk has caught 91.3 percent of his targets (21 of 23), and his yards per target (12.3) easily marks a career high to date. The primary drawback (from a fantasy perspective) in Arizona has been Kyler Murray's propensity to spread the ball around, as five different skill-position players have at least 23 targets, with all of DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green, Chase Edmonds and Rondale Moore in front of Kirk. Clearly, Kirk's efficiency will help him have more fruitful outings than not, and he'll have a good chance to produce next Sunday in what may be a back-and-forth road battle with the Browns.
