  • Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Headed for game-time decision

Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Hopkins (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with Chicago, Dana Scott of The Arizona Republic reports.

Kingsbury seemed to downplay Hopkins' absence from the media-access portion of Friday's practice, saying the Cardinals wanted to be "smart" with their handling of the injury. Kingsbury also acknowledged some element of not wanting the opponent to know, especially when dealing with crucial players like Hopkins and QB Kyler Murray, who also is being treated as a game-time decision (with an ankle injury). There seems to be less concern over Murray than Hopkins, but both figure to be listed as questionable on the final injury report leading up to a 1:00 ET kickoff this Sunday.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Listed as questionable, officially

Samuel (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Per John Keim of ESPN.com, Samuel is expected to play for a second straight week, and while his role might grow compared to the two touches and 24-percent snap share he handled in last week's win over Seattle, he's unlikely to be a full-time player. Any extra snaps for Samuel this Sunday -- assuming he plays -- likely will come at the expense of DeAndre Carter and/or Adam Humphries.

  • Giants' Sterling Shepard: Not looking good for Sunday

Shepard (quad) doesn't appear likely to play Sunday in Miami, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com.

It sounds like he isn't doing much at Friday's practice after returning Thursday as a limited participant. With Kadarius Toney (oblique/quad) a step behind Shepard and QB Daniel Jones (neck) now expected to miss time, it'll likely be Mike Glennon throwing passes to Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton and Evan Engram come Sunday. There's also an opportunity for depth players like John Ross (illness), Collin Johnson and Kyle Rudolph (ankle) to see extra snaps/targets, but in a difficult matchup against a hot defense with a backup QB at the helm.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Unlikely to play

Toney (quad/oblique) isn't practicing Friday, making him unlikely to play Sunday against the Dolphins, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

It's another rough week for the banged-up Giants offense, with QB Daniel Jones (neck) set to miss at least one game and quite possibly more. Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com suggests Sterling Shepard (quad) is also unlikely to play, leaving backup QB Mike Glennon with Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, Collin Johnson and maybe John Ross (illness) as his top wide receivers.

  • Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Not seen at practice

Hopkins (hamstring) wasn't present for the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

It's a concerning development after Hopkins was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, coming out of a Week 12 bye. The Cardinals play in Chicago this Sunday, kicking off at 1:00 ET. QB Kyler Murray (ankle) was present for the start of Friday's practice.

  • Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Signed to active roster

The Buccaneers signed Perriman to the active roster Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Perriman being signed to the active roster coincides with Antonio Brown (ankle) having received a three-week suspension. The veteran was previously elevated for Week 10 against Washington and Week 11 versus the Giants. While facing off against New York, Perriman caught two of four targets for 19 yards and had one carry for negative three yards.

  • Corey Davis WR | NYJ

Jets' Corey Davis: Returning to practice Friday

Coach Robert Saleh said Davis (groin) will practice Friday.

Davis was unable to practice Wednesday or Thursday, and Saleh also said the team is more optimistic regarding the wideout's outlook than last week, when he sat out versus the Texans. The 26-year-old's performance at Friday's session should dictate his status heading into the weekend.

  • Noah Brown WR | LV

Cowboys' Noah Brown: Two catches Thursday

Brown caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Thursday's 27-17 win over the Saints.

The Cowboys nearly had their full complement of wideouts available again, but with Cedrick Wilson (ankle) sidelined and Amari Cooper having a limited workload in his return from the COVID-19 list, there were still opportunities for Brown and other depth receivers to see some looks. Brown has set career highs this season with 16 catches on 25 targets for 184 yards, but he's still looking for his first NFL touchdown.

  • Rams' Odell Beckham: Availability uncertain for Sunday

Beckham's (hip) status for Sunday's game against the Jaguars is up in the air after he sat out Thursday's practice, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Beckham was limited at Wednesday's practice before sitting out Thursday due to a posterior hip pointer in his lower back, and the absence is apparently more than a precautionary measure. It's not believed to be a major injury for the 29-year-old, but his outlook for this weekend remains in question.

  • Saints' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Gets into end zone Thursday

Humphrey secured both targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' 27-17 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday night.

Humphrey checked in a distant second to Deonte Harris in receiving yards, but he was able to get into the end zone via a 24-yard scoring grab early in the second quarter. The 23-year-old now has a pair of touchdown catches in the last three games, while his yardage totals over the last pair of contests -- he also posted 47 yards against the Bills on Thanksgiving night -- are the two highest of his career. Humphrey's next opportunity to keep building on his numbers comes in a Week 14 road matchup against the Jets a week from Sunday.
